Unfortunately, this hotel is let down by the cold pool and even colder spa. The steam room was not working either. After a long day out walking Istanbul, I would have loved to relax in the spa and pool. The breakfast needs a bit of work. More fruit and nuts. Need to change bakery. Really close to tramvey and walking distance to Grand Bazaar and Blue mosque

My husband happend to book this terrible place for 900 pounds thinking its 5 star all facillieties inclusive.to be honest its been a nightmare. Staff are very rude, the room did not accommodate 4 family members thats 2 teenagers, one on sofa bed, entire room is taken over by beds no room to manuvere, the room was located near the cleaners office, you can hear them clearly. Inside the room, thats how bad the construction is.there was water drum outside the window continously overflawing. I had it to call numerous times.for simple things like toilet paper, which didnt happen to be their priority. Breakfast is always provided cold example scrumbled eggs, how can anyone eat that cold, with cold steamed vegetables. To top it up, day before back I left my purse in hotel.as I happened to come back mid day for it. I saw a man rushing by quickly and climbing out of the window from our room, Which was very strange. As soon as they saw us appear they paniced thats one cleaner and and stranger. Ididnt find my purse full of all ids and credit cards . When reported the manager was hostile unhelpful and extremely rude. Its been a terrible experience I wouldnt reccommend it. Cleaners happen to be walking in willy nilly.

This is my 1st morning in this hotel I went to have breakfast in the open area of the restaurant.. It was open and tables and chairs in there no difference from the remaining areas of the restaurant, just started to have my soup and a waitress came and said roughly : No breakfast here. I got surprised by her action and her tone .. and I looked at the wall .. there was no sign indicating that you can’t take breakfast here because the area is part of the restaurant .. They should not embarrass consumers this way.. they should right a sign in Turkish and English to prevent people from having breakfast in this area of the restaurant. And they should train workers to respect people and if they have a limited English ability they at least teach them some polite words. I don’t no why I pay money to arrogant people. The problem now I already payed online and can’t get refunded to leave this hotel.

Narrow recently remodeled room looked nice, but shower stall had mildew smell and lots of black mold. I stayed 2 nights and noticed trash receptacle was not emptied. Also, I had planned to use the gym facillities located adjacent to the basement pool, but could not due to an overpowering mildew smell.

I feel that you have miss sold this hotel. You have listed it as a 4 star hotel with spar. I dont see a spar down stairs. The pool has broken lights. The jacuzzi doesnt work. The pool fountain is broken. The pool isnt even heated. The steam room is broken. The GYM is out of service. The hair salon isn’t in service. The Turkish bathrooms look dirty. The only thing down there that was working until today was the sauna. And now that doesn’t work any more !! When I asked for my money back the manger threatened me and ran at me like he was going to attack me I’ll put video on YouTube ..

I had a fantastic stay at Darkhill Istanbul! The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the city. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, and the service was top-notch. I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast they offered each morning. The staff was incredibly helpful throughout my stay, and I want to give a special shout-out to Adam, the hotel manager, for going above and beyond to make my stay memorable. I highly recommend Darkhill Istanbul for a wonderful stay in this beautiful city!

Checked in late night. Room was not to out satisfaction. The hotel upgraded us to a suite room. Nice gesture. Restuarant was too good especially the good and the breakfast spread. The view from the rooftop restaurant was awesome. Keep it up.

Extremely rude and non-flexible. I booked a non-refundable room and had a medical situation so I couldn't travel. Not only they refuse to refund the whole amount (the majority of good hotels would charge the 1st night only if you had to cancel a non-refundable room), they also don't accept to change the dates or let someone else use the room on your behalf

A bit dingy and dark Room had no airconditioning so room was stuffy No drinking water No kettle or tea coffee Front desk very rude Also check out is 12 from 8 am house keeping kept on knocking on the door and came in the room while we were sleeping Spa is lovely though and pool enjoyed the Hammaam free sauna and steam room Located near tram But between 5 and 8 no taxis allowed in arrea

Beautiful hotel Great service Good breakfast The first room was small we request to change it so they gave us a big and beautiful room. The breakfast was so delicious and varied. Adam was very helpful and kind, he helped us during our vacation.
