The service is very very poor. I have been a Ctrip gold card member for more than five years, and this is the first time I have given a negative review. The whole hotel is a scam. During the stay, they moved all my personal items (I'm a girl, and all the service staff in this hotel are men), including my underwear, which were directly rolled out of the room, and there are many girls who use it. I won't talk about eighty-eight things. This hotel has ruined all my positive memories of Türkiye. I stayed here because of a business trip. I checked in late at night, and I had a meeting the next morning. Before I went out, I told the front desk that I would contact the personnel to renew the room. He asked me to renew the room before twelve o'clock, otherwise I would have to check out. The personnel made a reservation for me at 11:50, but the front desk said at 2:00 pm that the credit card deduction failed (that card was successful in other hotels, but his home was not good, and the cash must be paid in person) , In this way, Ctrip couldn't coordinate and asked me to go back and check out within an hour. As a result, it was completely impossible for me to go back within an hour during the meeting. I returned to the hotel after a busy afternoon and found that all my things were packed in a mess in the corner of Datang, and they moved all my personal items (I am a girl, and all the service staff in this hotel are men), including my underwear They all came out of the room directly, and there are many random things that girls use, not to mention. The pile of invoices that had been sorted out on the table and prepared to be reimbursed was also thrown away violently. I asked them for it, but they refused to admit it at all. The whole nest is ****, I don't know how to rate it as five stars

A bit like a small hotel like a domestic inn, the queen room is made up of two single beds. The environment is so-so but the price is cheap, which is very suitable for poor travel. Sprinkle cat food on the window and cats will jump up to eat it~

This hotel is in a great location for a short stay in Istanbul. It's about a 5 to 10 minute walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and tram stop, but it is mainly uphill. There are lots of great restaurants, rooftop bars and shops around this area, but as you are in the heart of the tourist area they can be a bit expensive. The hotel is good. The rooms are a good size and are clean and have air-conditioning, a mini bar and a safety deposit box, but they are in need of some renovation, our room had definitely seen better days. The bed was a good size and comfortable. The bathroom was very compact but had a good selection of toiletries. Slippers, coffee, tea making facilities and small water were provided in the room. A continental style breakfast was included and sufficient but slightly limited in choice and variation from day to day. The fresh melon and watermelon were amazing though. They have a rooftop bar/restaurant but we didn't use so can't comment on that. All the staff were very friendly and happy to help you. On our first few days it sometimes felt like they were a bit too pushy, always trying to sell a tour or a package - which they could suddenly discount from the advertised price - but eventually they stopped asking. One member of staff however that really stood out and made time to chat with us each day was Hamza. In summary, 5 out of 5 for the location but probably 3.5 out of 5 overall.

We’ve just had a 5 night stay at this hotel. We booked with BA holidays. We arranged transfers with the hotel to and from the airport. It was 60 Euros for a minibus for 4 people. The hotel is traditional and fairly old I would imagine but it was clean and centrally located for sightseeing. Staff were all pleasant. Enes was helpful in arranging transfer. Hamza was very friendly. We were in rooms 105 and 106 which were at the back of the hotel on the first floor. The rooms were pretty basic. Very firm bed. TV, mini bar, safe. Tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was very compact with a tiny shower. Very small wardrobe too, but we managed . Breakfast was included and is served 7.30 / 10.30 in the breakfast room downstairs. There is also a courtyard with tables and chairs which we tended to use. Not a bad selection on the buffet. All in all we had a very good stay and I’d recommend this hotel. 5 minutes walk to the blue mosque area. Value for money.

This is a 2-3 star hotel. Very small rooms. Bad condition bathroom I do not recommend the breakfast, there is almost no choice. Hotel is in a good location. The walls are very thin and you often hear very loud banging On the last day my key card wouldnt work in 8am,but check out time is 12pm.Heating is dosn't work first 2 day. Next time I come I will definitely choose another hotel.

Thank to Ahmet and Ibrahim, they’ve been very helpful and knowledgeable about the city and very accurate recommendations. Hotel location is very much easy and walkable to most of the attractions and landmarks, would like to come again next visit!

I’m shocked this hotel is rated 4 stars. it’s a complete letdown. The location is good, and the receptionist was polite, but that’s about it. The rooms are ridiculously small, there’s no room to open a suitcase comfortably. The furniture is old and shabby, and the cleanliness is far below acceptable standards. Worse, the walls are so thin you can hear every sound from the rooms next door and above. This hotel is not worth the price. Avoid it. you’ll regret staying here.

Avicenna hotel has a warm, welcoming front desk: we were offered a refreshing drink while we checked in. The staff are most helpful, carrying bags to and from our room. (Ibrahim, I think his name was). The room at the back on the first floor was quiet and, thanks to the trees being bare, had glimpses of the Bosporus. I’d suggest requesting a room on a higher floor if you want that view. The rooftop restaurant has beautiful views. The breakfast was plentiful both for my husband (an omnivore) and I (a vegetarian), but I’m not sure what a vegan would think of it. The room was clean and housekeeping attended each day, however generally the decor is a little tired. However, with its central location I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Istanbul.

Nice hotel in great location of the Old City. Very good breakfasts, rooms are clean. Also very nice restaurant on the 3rd floor. Special thanks to personnel on the reception who were very kind and pleasant, especially Ridvan. The only negative is bad noise isolation in the room but it also depends on loud neighbours:) All in all, very nice place to stay

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel in a good location. It is very close to the popular tourist attractions. The staff are friendly and very helpful especially Enes and Ridvon. I also recommend the hotel restaurant, great food with a view.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short break in Istanbul and this hotel was a great base from which to explore. We were able to see and do so much in our four days. Would definitely recommend. Staff were polite and attentive, breakfast was adequate considering so many places to eat in the area.
