Good location , close to the metro and bus station . I can see part of the sea view in my room The room was tidy and cool air conditioning

The service is good, the breakfasts are not very varied (I saw reviews about poor sound insulation, but everything was super, none of the neighbors interfered) Wish there were more towels

There are blood stains on the bed sheets in the room, poor sound insulation, and the toilet sink is rusty and has not been cleaned

It's really bad. The bed sheets and blood are taken out to give people to sleep. The service is really bad

I was in this hotel for 5 days on April 11, 2024. In my opinion and as I have experienced several hotels in these years, it is really one of the best hotels in Istanbul. And I definitely recommend this hotel to all tourists from all over the world for several reasons: 1- The staff is friendly and kind and will help you to have a comfortable and worry-free stay in this place (I especially need to thank Ms. Yaren Arsan) 2- Equipped with necessary and suitable equipment and very clean 3- It is in a convenient location to access public transportation such as metro station, bus station, ferry dock and you can visit tourist attractions such as Galata Tower, etc. by walking. 4- Reasonable price for booking compared to other low level hotels 5- The rooms have a beautiful view of the bay

The location was excellent, the service was amazing especially the housekeeping “AZAD” was so nice .

Beware. This is not a 4* hotel by any means. I don't know the Turkish standards when it comes to hotels, but comparing to European standards, this is a 2* hotel. • The service at the reception is poor, indifferent to the point where you say hello when entering the hotel, but they simply look away and don't even greet back (and this is a small boutique hotel!). The girl with blond hair and a mini skirt that barely covered her underware (very tacky for a 4* hotel!) was just a joke... smoking at the hotel entrance, passing by the guests without greeting them, yelling accross the lobby etc... • The cleanliness is 2/5, with black mould at the shower corners and dirty breakfast area (under the buffet table etc). • Breakfast 2/5 for a 4* hotel. Very low quality of produce with very limited selection. They don't cater to international guests when it comes to breakfast buffet. One morning one of the reception staff came to the buffet and just took the last pieces of pastry, and along with other food took a couple of plates for the staff right infront of our eyes! Now, don't get me wrong, you should pay attention that staff has quality meals, but taking the food infront of the guest is just outrageous and disrespectful. • Bring your own shampoo and shower gel because they offer rediculous quality bathroom amenity. • The walls are thin as paper. I don't need to say more, especially if you are situated on lower floors like we were. Also beware of their polished online photos of hotel surroundings. The hotel is situated between a construction site and an abandoned building with a rooftop full of garbage. All in all, a 2* hotel. The choice is yours.

We had booked this hotel for a week with our family through Alibaba agency, but unfortunately on the first day when we left the room for a ridiculous breakfast only for a short time, the thief entered the room and took all the money in the safe box. and had also stolen the phone's charger and handsfree. The sad thing was that the thief had entered the room without damaging the door and with the card, the police and the hotel management did not make the slightest effort to help us. And with the help of each other, they made a hellish trip for us So if you want to stay in this hotel, it is your choice, but please take precautions so that you do not have a bitter experience like ours. PS: If anyone thinks my experience isn't real, message me and I'll show them the video and documentation of the police complaint.

This is my second time at Dora Pera, its my favorite hotel, very clean, big rooms and comfortable. Very near to the metro station only 5 mins walking, bus station is just in front of the hotel 1 min walking, very near to istiklal street and galata tower, i would recommend for everyone, breakfast very good quality and big variety. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it for solo and families travelers.
