The manager, Omar, runs this small hotel with great personal care and provides a wealth of good advice on what to see and how to get around in Istanbul. The location is perfect if you want to visit the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and Hagia Sofia. It's all within easy walking distance. Our room was small and offered no grand view, but it was clean and featured a working in-room safe and a small fridge. No breakfast is served, but there are several good places down the street. This hotel is good value for money!

light and bright room, soft mattress; we spent 5 nights in this charming hotel run by Omer who takes great care of his guests. The room is large, fragrant and we are a stone's throw from Sultanahmet Square, you can do everything on foot... no complaints about the cleanliness! the street is quiet, we feel good in short I recommend :)

The location was very convenient, there was a room on the first floor consisting of two adjacent full rooms, in one room there was an imitation window (the window was blocked up), in the second there was a panoramic window. Water is replenished every day, shampoo and soap are given once upon arrival and a lot at once. Heating is air conditioned, the call for adhan from the mosque can be heard, but very distantly. There are a lot of good restaurants and grocery stores around, metro and trolleybus stations are 3-5 minutes away. The administrator Omar speaks Russian, is very friendly and attentive, payment at the hotel is possible in dollars, conversion at the official rate is much more profitable than making a double conversion through lira in an exchange office. Advice not related to the hotel: Do not choose hammam in hotels, Dibekli hammam is terrible, it was recommended to us here, choose historical hammams and be sure to read the reviews so as not to spoil the impression and pleasure) Pege hotel is super!

While planning our first international trip as a family, we were worried about where to stay and whether we could trust the reviews. Pege Hotel was the only place we found that had amazing reviews across multiple websites and could easily accommodate our family of five. We couldn't have been happier! Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and we were offered unlimited bottled water. Omer and his staff were very friendly and offered great suggestions on sightseeing and restaurants. The hotel is perfectly located within easy walking distance of the Old City attractions, restaurants, and metro stations. The area is very quiet at night, so it's easy to get a good night's sleep, and it's a quick metro ride to nightlife when you want a night out. Pege Hotel is a real gem and we're so happy that we found it!!

Lovely hotel, clean rooms and a nice distance to everything basically in sultanahmet. The owner is a really kind man who does his best to help you out with anything you need, he also provides great information about where to visit, where to eat and what things there are to do. After lots of searching for a place to stay in the old part of Istanbul (Sultanhamet), we decided on Pege Hotel. Great decision! Everything you would want to see is very close, just a few minutes walking. Hotel is very comfortable and the hospitality (especially Omer) is the best I have ever experienced at a hotel. Everyone speaks english and is ready to help in any way possible. We would highly recommend this reasonably priced boutique hotel!

Amazing stay at the Pege hotel it’s in a central location close to all of the attractions and everything is within walking distance such as the Bizarre, Blue mosque and Hagia Sophia as-well as loads of bars, restaurants, shops and the trams which take you all over Istanbul. Omer and his staff are great they really do look after you and make you feel welcome and comfortable! It was my birthday while we were there and the hotel got me a lovely box of baklava (super delicious) and left me a lovely note wishing me a happy birthday which was very much appreciated and a lovely surprise. The hotel itself is very clean, modern and has everything you need! Especially enjoyed the Turkish çay! Very comfortable stay in a comfy bed just what you need after a busy day! Honestly this hotel is fabulous and we will definitely be returning soon! Thank you again Ömer and The Pege staff! :)
