The room was OK, but it had a bit of a smell, and the window was across the alley from the building. The view from the rooftop restaurant was amazing, facing the Bosphorus Bridge, and you could see the Galata Tower in the European New Town and the Asian Hills. The hotel is in a great location, in the heart of the old city, and a 15-minute walk to famous attractions such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Egyptian Obelisk, Galata Bridge, Spice Bazaar, Grand Bazaar, Suleymaniye Mosque, etc.

One of the staff members was unfriendly and unhelpful. On our first day, we had to wait about 10 minutes at the check-in desk, even though three employees were present. The person who eventually assisted us didn’t even greet us—I said hello, and he simply asked for our passports. Later, this same staff member refused to call a taxi for us. Fortunately, another staff member was kind enough to help and called a taxi.
If you’re traveling with elderly people who can’t walk far and need a taxi directly in front of the hotel, I’d recommend avoiding this place. The streets are very narrow and often crowded, so taxis are reluctant to come. It’s especially frustrating when the hotel staff doesn’t assist with calling one.

It's located in the old town, so it's very convenient. The breakfast restaurant has a great view, from the Bosphorus to the Galata Bridge and Galata Tower.
