I booked a ten night stay which was done approximately two months before I was due to travel and had explained to the hotel that I was a wheelchair user, they informed me that they had a room for me at the entrance level and although they had three steps to enter the building they will help me any time I needed help, five days before I was due to arrive they told me to change the room as the room I booked in is not accessible and I would need to pay an extra £200 to have a double room but only if it's available on my arrival at the hotel, so basically if the room wasn't available I would have been stuck, they refused to refund the money so that I can book into another hotel, however I booked into the holiday Inn at ********* refunded £400 out of the £466 I had paid to this badly managed hotel, I also had to pay approximately another £200 to the holiday Inn which meant I am now about £266 out of pocket which I hoping to get back from *********.
Absolutely pathetic hotel management who caused me a lot of stress, AVOID.
