My husband and I ended up in this hotel for two nights after a fire occurred in our Airbnb building. We picked it primarily for the location and the photos. We couldn’t have found a better place. The hotel is clean and modern. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay the best, and most of the staff speaks English fluently (never expected, always appreciated). We had four meals there, and everything we ate was amazing. Add in the fact that this hotel is in a less hectic area of Istanbul, and you have everything you need for a great stay. We highly recommend the Buem Hotel Kouyolu.

Dont know why people complaining so much ! I had an amazing time there stuff are very friendly, especially ILYAS TOPAL u were so nice and u t really take care of me ,,,make my days there.. thank you ! room always clean , tall guy staying at the door so helpful not sure about the name but he was always there for me ! I have booked at Pera orient hotel because it offers what I want from an hotel during my travels and the feedbacks were in its favor. Just after my booking was done I stumble on a negative review that was posted on trip advisor. I was worried about my choice. But when I went to Istanbul and stayed there, I felt compelled to share my own experience, which was entirely different and absolutely fantastic! I believe it's essential to give credit where credit is due. First of all , if you are seeking a resort , Pera Orient is not a resort and it never claims to be one! My stay at Pera Orient was comfortable and pleasant. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, who made their best to help me in every possible way and to answer my queries during my 5-day long stay. Their warm smiles and genuine willingness to assist truly set the tone for my stay. The location of the hotel is ideal. A 6 min walk from the hotel takes you to Taksim square where you can take the Metro or bus to reach your desired destination. And it allowed me to make regular daily walks on istikal street . The street is a little narrow yes, but there are plenty of hotels all around that I have never felt scared or unsafe ( as it was mentioned in the negative review). And I always took the upward direction then turn right towards taksim. I was greeted by a spotless clean room with a tasteful decor. The bed was incredibly comfortable, The housekeeping staff was attentive and meticulous, making sure that my room was impeccably cleaned each day. Coffee and tea were left daily next to the kettle (sometimes with a bottle of water). When I will visit Istanbul again , I will definitely chose Pera Orient to stay in.

This hotel, run by friendly people gave us exactly what I miss in big hotel chains: the extra personal touch and great service. The room was big and cosy (we chose the 3 persons room for the 2 of us) and the room looked exactly as shown in the pictures. The bathroom was on the small side but very clean, modern and all brand new. Blow dryer available. The bed slept wonderful (cotton beddings). The cushion was a bit high for me but at home I sleep with a very thin cushion so I don't have a regular taste on this. Breakfast is not included but you can order it at a reasonable extra cost. I had my breakfast every morning here at the hotel, (despite the nice cafe's in the neighborhood!) because this was the best breakfast ever! Every morning a different fresly baked (glutenfree!) bread. Besides that, a varation of delicious Turkish bites (don't know the name of). Olives, dried tomatoes, dried fruits, handful of nuts, every day different eggs (cooked, scrambled or fried at your liking), labneh (sort of cream cheese), yoghurt, honey. All freshly made and very tasty. Don't forget to taste the turkish tea or coffee. This breakfast was absolutely the best way to start the day in Istanbul; highly recommended! The hotel owner helped us with airport transfer, but also made the extra mile in helping us out with buying tickets for a concert. This kind of help is what makes the difference for your stay in Istanbul because not too many are English speaking and I don't know Turkish ;-) Overall a very pleasant stay and a highly recommended hotel for the extra personal service, the breakfast and all this in the best neighborhood of Istanbul: Kadiköy.

It's almost close to everything. Room looks exactly like the pictures. Service very nice. Everything was actually great, except that the room was on the street side and you could hear a bit of traffic noise in the morning, but it wasn't a problem. Everything was good.. It's plenty for people who don't stay in the room all the time..

one of the most comfortable experiences I have ever had. Kind loving and caring people. Cost effective safe and secure hotel which is a bit away from the center but if you get used to public transport and love to explore this is the place to be. I have no complaints. Thier morning breakfast was amazing and the staff who served it were even better than that.

I had jacuzzi problems every time I stayed in the last three rooms, but I never used them. The last time, the jacuzzi stayed not, the same salary was paid again. They could download the standard charge this time, but we wanted it to be done the next day. I was kicked out and called out from outside and even received his confirmation. Otherwise, another room block was done. We returned to the hotel and we saw the jacuzzi still not sticking. And there is no other room. Price performance is terrible. He did not meet any expectations. The only good thing is the worker. But job tracking and job finishing is zero. Review your technical team.

1st day arrived when we check-in our room, it is blocked by another tower building, after talked to Akin understand that there is a wedding, all room are being booked, they can help me to change another room next day, hence, next day after our breakfast, Ms Raziye managed help us with a better view room. On our last day, Ms Assel also give us some good advices; concierge gentlemen also give us a lot of good advices on local food! All the staffs are very friendly. Love this place.

New hotel and very clean. There are amenities other than toothbrushes. Transportation is convenient as there are buses and trains nearby. I want to stay again.
