It's almost close to everything. Room looks exactly like the pictures. Service very nice. Everything was actually great, except that the room was on the street side and you could hear a bit of traffic noise in the morning, but it wasn't a problem. Everything was good.. It's plenty for people who don't stay in the room all the time..

I have booked at Pera orient hotel because it offers what I want from an hotel during my travels and the feedbacks were in its favor. Just after my booking was done I stumble on a negative review that was posted on trip advisor. I was worried about my choice. But when I went to Istanbul and stayed there, I felt compelled to share my own experience, which was entirely different and absolutely fantastic! I believe it's essential to give credit where credit is due. First of all , if you are seeking a resort , Pera Orient is not a resort and it never claims to be one! My stay at Pera Orient was comfortable and pleasant. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, who made their best to help me in every possible way and to answer my queries during my 5-day long stay. Their warm smiles and genuine willingness to assist truly set the tone for my stay. The location of the hotel is ideal. A 6 min walk from the hotel takes you to Taksim square where you can take the Metro or bus to reach your desired destination. And it allowed me to make regular daily walks on istikal street . The street is a little narrow yes, but there are plenty of hotels all around that I have never felt scared or unsafe ( as it was mentioned in the negative review). And I always took the upward direction then turn right towards taksim. I was greeted by a spotless clean room with a tasteful decor. The bed was incredibly comfortable, The housekeeping staff was attentive and meticulous, making sure that my room was impeccably cleaned each day. Coffee and tea were left daily next to the kettle (sometimes with a bottle of water). When I will visit Istanbul again , I will definitely chose Pera Orient to stay in.

one of the most comfortable experiences I have ever had. Kind loving and caring people. Cost effective safe and secure hotel which is a bit away from the center but if you get used to public transport and love to explore this is the place to be. I have no complaints. Thier morning breakfast was amazing and the staff who served it were even better than that.

We had a nice stay at this friendly apartment hotel. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Although there is no breakfast in the rate, the property provides a simple breakfast to get you started. There is a shuttle to two nearby shopping areas - which makes it easy to get started if you are unfamiliar with Istanbul. There is some sightseeing that is walkable - which allows an alternative to shopping. But the old town is far and will require taxis to go back and forth. The few restaurants in the neighborhood are below par. So you have to rely on deliveries or the Nishantashi area for food. Regrettably we noted only a few names of the team that ensured our comfort - every one on the team was outstanding. Cahit from the bell desk, Cirkan and Essen from housekeeping, Suar and Soner from the front desk - all ensured a clean and comfortable stay. The appliances in the apartment are of a good quality. The shower is powerful and refreshing. And the shuttle service is a great facility. The apartment itself is really small. We were 3 adults in a “larger” two-bedroom apartment and we were cramped. Of all the Ascott and Marriott apartments we have stayed in, this was by far the smallest.

I stayed here in February 2020 for 4 nights together with a friend. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is very clean. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk away from the nearest sightseeing places located in the historic part of the city. Even nearer to the hotel there are groceryshops, bars, parks and restaurants. Keeping in mind the little money you pay for your stay, you can't really complain. Eventhough, I'd like to see some changes. Since the bathroom is really small, the whole bathroom actually is the shower. Everything gets wet, so there's not really a good place to leave your towel and cloths which you obviously want to keep dry. Maybe a few hooks or hanging baskets will be a good addition. There was 1 hook though, but it was very small and broken. (see picture of toilet, there a small cabinet next so the width is about 1,20 M en the same goes for the depth. The shower is on the right wall, infront of the cabinet) It also takes a very long time for the bathroom to dry. The water isn't stopped bij a small shower edge or something and theres nothing to wipe the water with, which left us with only one option: Shower in the evenings and leave the window in the bathroom open so it will be dry by the time it's morning. Not idealic at all, considering we where staying here during the winter. Also we had to share a socket during the night to charge our phones. It would be great if there were more of them. These are all small 'complaints' so it's not too bad. Especially for the money you pay. There's one thing left I'd like to warn you for: the sounds. The hotel is very noisy. You can hear other people very well and unfortunatly we had some people staying in the hotel that didn't take this into account. Because of the noisyness, you'll also be able to hear the mosques very loudly in the early mornings, so if you don't want to, bring some earplugs. Despite of the few negatives, I myself would stay here again and so would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a cheap hotel near the old city centre.

It was a perfect location, that is why stayed for many days. Happy to suggest to people. Kind of boutique hotel, have all what people need🙌

Super Location,friendly staff, very clean rooms, perfect services, bosphorus view is amazing from room if you choose good one. Good design and comfortable lobby room with bosphorus view, But extremely expensive lobby bar and restaurants in hotel. But a lots of opportunities to find good restaurants, small Local tastes food shops , elegance bars and night club. Best and amazing location in Istanbul.

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The hotel is located in the old town, only 10min walk to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia and many eateries. The hotel staff is extremely cordial and helpful and makes my stay pleasant and homely. The room is small but cosy. The breakfast is impressive and delicious. The roof balcony is an added bonus to the hotel which has a beautiful view of the ocean and the skyline of mosques. I will definitely stay there again.
