The Grayhaven Motel is such a lovely place to stay! It’s so quaint with beautiful grounds. The rooms are large and comfortable. The location is great. It’s nice to be out of town but close enough to go into to town to eat or shop. The State parks are close and easy to get to. I’ve stayed here twice and will again if I make it back to Ithaca from Texas!

This was my first time staying here and we will definitely try stay here again as we visit Ithaca. The place held on to its roots, but the owners have updated the rooms and they are very comfortable and clean. I loved the little touches that were sprinkled all throughout the stay...the birdfeeders, the smores kits, fire pit starter kit, the morning on the go breakfast offering....

This restored roadside motel is a gem. I stayed in Cottage 9 with my buddy dog, Blue. The room was replete with special touches such as s’mores fixings, a turntable for the vintage vinyl collection, and the crispest, cleanest sheets I’ve ever enjoyed. The bed was incredibly comfortable too. The living room even had a healthy live spider plant on the desk. Everything was just perfect. Don’t expect new-millenium features when you arrive; the rooms were restored as close to original as possible. The crowning touch for this unique property are the abundant and colorful gardens surrounding fun-oriented outdoor game and sitting areas that are carefully arranged for both family fun and quiet reflection as well. So, go and Enjoy!

My stay at the hotel was really cozy, it was more than I expected. The room offers everything you need, the decoration is very nice.
You have quick access to Ithaca and at the same time to many natural places.
Also the hospitality of the owners was very friendly.

We stayed one night in cottage #10. Very retro cute and clean, comfy bed, good pillows, lots of towels and a kitchen with everything you need. Only improvement would be a normal height toilet for taller people. We would stay again even if just to eat Italian at Mercato - sit at the bar, excellent meal.

Adorable, updated roadside motel. Everything was clean and decorated simply yet boutique style. Communication with the owners was easy from reservations on. Would recommend for location right up against beautiful Buttermilk Falls State Park....Sadie our golden doodle agrees...amazingly dog friendly with a dog treat upon arrival! adorable, blue, gray and black tiled bathroom and very very comfortable beds! Will definitely stay here again!

Traveling with an injured puppy makes for a stressful time! The staff here were wonderful! Great location and amenities. I highly recommend “upgrading” to a kitchen unit- we found everything we needed for our comfort. A special thanks to everyone who made our trip so great!

The room was charming and comfortable. The bed and linens were extra nice. Beautiful grounds with flowers and a hammock!! We played Elvis records on the turntable and tried to light a fire in the pit so we could enjoy the provided s’mores making kit. I would so stay here again. Delicious granola, yogurt and juice and incredible main house.

No question … great stay. Room was very clean, comfortable and we loved the retro style. The grounds are well cared for … they have fire pits, trails and great little spots to find some quiet. The owners are friendly, accommodating and clearly invested in their property and your stay.
