When I arrive at the front door of the hotel, there is no guidance and we have to carry out heavy luggage to walk up the stairs. Meanwhile, no staff helps us at all. After that, there is no staff to greet us when we go inside the lobby of the hotel. Being a superior hotel, I don’t expect that we need to stand in front of the check in counter during check in. After several minutes, we finally being assigned to sit for the check in process. As it’s pricy of this hotel, there are many many choices with excellent service and food if you pay such amount or even cheaper.

The hotel group has a standard

A hotel that did not disappoint. There is nothing much to comment on the hygiene and service quality. It is indeed a high standard of brand hotels. The overall decoration style is modern and comfortable, and the area is relatively large among Japanese hot spring hotels. Although there is no private hot spring, the public hot spring in the hotel is very good, and there is also a beautiful courtyard and foot bath, and a heated swimming pool. The food is particularly surprising, exquisite and delicious, and I feel that a dinner is worth the price. If I have the opportunity to go to Ito again, I will really consider staying again.

The environment is good and the location is suitable. It is a ten-minute walk from the station. You can walk there slowly when the weather is not hot. Breakfast and dinner are good. If you want to be comfortable, you can order hotel meals, go out for fun after breakfast, and soak in the hot springs after dinner.

First of all, I like Ctrip’s efficient service. The hotel does not have pick-up and drop-off service from Ito Station. If you have a suitcase, it is recommended to take a taxi for about 50 yuan. There are no scenic spots nearby and no sea view in the residential area. There is only a garden view that is generally neglected. Arrive at 2 o’clock. There was no reception at the door. Check-in started at 2:30. This hotel said check-in was at 3:00 and one person would check in. I was given a room first. I was shocked. I have stayed in ten rooms and never had a view. This one has no view at all, only the entire living room and bedroom. The window was half closed because there was no view. I immediately went downstairs and asked the hotel to change rooms. It was inconsistent with the order. The hotel said that there was no way. I immediately contacted Ctrip. I hope that the Ctrip guy can change it to a room with a large window. The view is still average, but I am very satisfied. The room is large and has an average size. There is also a strange Japanese-style sliding door that cannot be opened, which makes people think of bad service. And the food and beverage included in the restaurant is a bit lower than the average in the world. There are only two bottles of bulk water in the refrigerator for free. Other charges are not as good as the last time I stayed in Hoshino Kai Enshu Ito Kai. It is family-friendly and has a swimming pool with a cypress bubble. The other experience of the pool is very average. There are about a dozen rooms with half-windows and no view at all. It is completely meaningless to stay in such a room. There are very few rooms with a view shown on Ctrip. It is difficult to arrange for Hoshino World in Ito. The hotel is called Anzhen Express Hotel, which is the same but has a sea view. In short, the two areas in Ito are average. I used to make reservations frequently and was very disappointed last time. I only booked one this time and the experience was average. The Japanese-style room is large, clean and tidy. The living room and bedroom are separated. The mountain view outside the window is beautiful through the living room. I had the most enjoyable stay at Hoshino Resort 'KAI' compared to any other hotel in Japan I've stayed at before. The staff's hospitality was outstanding, and both the interior of the building and our room were impeccably clean, making our stay very pleasant. During our stay, there was an event at the pool. The children got to ride boats, and at the poolside, they enjoyed activities like goldfish scooping, water guns, and creating bubbles . The staff made sure we had a ton of fun. Seeing the joy in my child's face made it a wonderful summer memory for us.

I stayed at KAI Ito for two nights for a long overdue and precious family reunion. It seems that a good chunk of their guests stay for just one night, but we stayed two, because we traveled far to get there. First night was fine (acceptable for what they charge), but the second day was disappointing. Beware. They are NOT geared for Renpaku (continuous stays)! 1. We declined room cleaning (e.g. no vacuuming) after the first night, but they said they would refresh amenities (new towels, etc.) We got fresh towels, but they left used tea cups and glasses uncleaned. We had to call to replenish toilet papers. I had to go to the front desk, because the fresh yukata (bath robes) they gave me was of wrong size. They didn't replenish drinking water. All in all, we had to call at least four times to get everything right for the second night. This would be okay for a basic business hotel, but we were staying in a fine resort.... 2. We followed a recommendation from our nakai-san (person assigned to take care of us) to take a bus to Mt. Ohmuro and take a lift up to the top for a "spectacular view of Izumo Peninsula." It turned out this lift had been shut down for at least a week for a two-week repair, and we learned about it at the bus station (there was a tiny sign in Japanese about the closure). I told a lady at the front desk about the closure, but the reaction I got was a curt "Oh, excuse us." I also mentioned we were able to find another nice place to visit, and she said, "That's nice." I wasn't sure if this lady would share the info with others, so they would stop giving wrong advice to more guests.... 3. Meals are highlights of a stay at a Japanese resort, but KAI didn't make an effort to serve a different menu on the second night. The meal was very similar to the first night with only minor variations. It was different from our experiences at other fine resorts in Japan (including another Hoshino resort.) There was also a bunch of other things that made us wonder about this place (too minor to remember but bothersome in their entirety). By the checkout time, everyone in our party was just ready to go. Instead of enjoying hospitality, I felt I was being forced to accommodate the way they wanted to run their place. Again, okay for a basic hotel but way below expectations for a place like KAI.

Before the rainy season started, I went to KAI Ito, a Hoshino resort in Ito Onsen. KAI Ito used to be a luxury inn called Izumi-so, but due to poor business performance, it was renovated into Hoshino Resorts KAI. There are 30 rooms, all of which are modern in Japanese style, each with a cypress bath/hot spring bath fed directly from the source, and a low bed type room. The dishes were also quite elaborate, and the high-quality ingredients such as spiny lobster, abalone, and red sea bream decorated the dinner, and I was very satisfied.

Stayed overnight with a friend the other day. The room was clean and I was satisfied with the food and bath. However, there was a centipede in the room. A friend of mine was stabbed in his sleep. I noticed it early in the morning, but I was so scared that I couldn't sleep, and I didn't even know why I was there in the first place. I went to the front desk and dealt with it in the room, but that was it. The hotel side is not completely bad that insects appear, and it can not be helped. However, I am paying a high price for my stay, and I am also paying a service charge. Because the expectations were high, I wanted the hotel to respond in some way, not from us. I wasn't very convinced that I couldn't change my room because I was told that it would be difficult for no reason. This time, the purpose was not for sightseeing, but to enjoy the room, so that feeling was even stronger. Ultimately, it ended as a result of closing the curtain as "disappointing memories". Other than that I am satisfied.
