The hotel is on a mountain. It has to climb uphill. It is difficult to walk to the hotel from the station. Taxi is not available. The hotel only provides free shuttle bus from Ito Station. An old hot spring hotel with old hardware and facilities, but very clean and good service. Free pastries and matcha are provided, and the scenery is pleasant. There was nothing to eat without a reservation for dinner. There was nothing to eat around the hotel and Izu Minami Station. We had to go down the mountain and take JR to eat at the beach at Ito Station. There is a 24-hour supermarket at the foot of the mountain, which is quite good. Even if other platforms are 100 or 200 cheaper than Ctrip, I have not changed the platform, just based on the trust in its service. This hotel has a driver to pick up at Ito Station. The hotel hygiene and service are very good. Since the room includes a private bath, I did not go to the big pond to bathe. I believe their big pond must be very good. We spent one night here but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel gives a very tranquil feel with unique Japanese way of garden design outside the lobby lounge and nice view from our room. Both dinner and breakfast were the best during this holiday and were taken to our sizeable room with every items explained. In addition, complimentary ice cream was offered at the lounge after dinner. Onsen was very nicely maintained.
