This was probably the best experience i had during my visit to Japan. The ryokan feels authentic yet luxurious, the service id amazing. The personnel speaks english very well. The room was just what we wanted, very spacious, tatami floors, a balcony with a city view. We even had a little bath that you could fill with water from the hot spring. The dinner was exquisite, very authentic and delicious. The breakfast was just as good, although the amount of fish dishes might be a little overwhelming for foreigners. The best part though was obviously the onsen. The cable car that takes you to the onsen really added to the experience. We had the chance to go in the evening and in the morning. Both times there were no other people. It was raining in the morning and i definitely recommend going to the onsen while it rains if you get the chance. After checking out we were offered a ride to the station by the owner, and we had a nice chat on the way. So i absolutely recommend this ryokan, i wish we stayed longer

Trip.com definitely hide some cost when they offered prices for accommodation. We choose trip.com as they were cheaper than Agoda. Then, We were asked to pay for our child for accommodation and meal even we booked with 3 family members. On the booking confirmation they mentioned we might be charged for a child. We knew the child's prices were not included, we didn't book through Trip.com. This hotel has full of character, but wasn't the best comfortable place to stay. The staff seemed nice but very hard to communicate without speaking Japanese. Also very stingy with towols, water in the room.

After returning from Ito, I have been thinking about writing a review for Yangqiguan. This is also the top task assigned by my mother. This is a traditional Japanese hot spring hotel with a history of 100 years. It is built on the mountain and has a small cable car that can be operated by yourself to transport guests up and down, which is convenient and interesting. There are natural hot springs on the first floor and the top of the mountain. The wild sky bath on the top of the mountain is more distinctive. There are not many guests, clean and quiet. In the evening or early morning, soak in the warm and clear spring water, overlooking the Ito City and the sea in the distance under the sky, as well as the green hills. The cicadas on the big trees above are the only noise, making people feel as if they are in a paradise, feeling unprecedented relaxation and comfort. After taking a bath, I returned to the room. The enthusiastic service brother began to set up dinner. The table was full and it was really rich. For friends who love sashimi, there is a treat. The dishes are all authentic Japanese dishes. Overall, they are not bad. After the meal, exquisite fruits and small desserts were also sent. The breakfast on the second day was also very rich, grilled fish, hot spring eggs, Japanese tofu, salad, soup, rice, various side dishes, all tasted good. Mom, my daughter and I, three women, dazzled a whole bucket of rice, hahaha! Although we only stayed for a short night, this hotel has won my heart, and my mother and daughter also praised it. Before checking out, the enthusiastic brother specially wrote down the information of Omuro Mountain for us, which was very thoughtful and meticulous. After checking out, the elegant hotel owner took photos for us and drove us to Ito Station in person, which was also very grateful. Although we only stayed for a short night, I think we all fell in love with this place. Except that the facilities may be a little old, there is almost nothing wrong with it. It is almost exactly the same as the traditional Japanese inn I imagined. If I have the opportunity to travel to Izu again in the future, I think I will definitely return to Yokikan to feel at home again and feel the warmth and romance brought by the Notenfuro.

This is a historic, typical Japanese-style hotel. The rooftop cable car and open-air hot spring are a highlight. The staff are warm and friendly and the service is thoughtful.

This hotel is truly valuable because of its long history. From the decoration details of hardware facilities to the meticulous service, it is very satisfying. Especially the open-air hot spring on the top of the mountain is the finishing touch here.

A Japanese hot spring hotel that lives up to its reputation. The outdoor hot spring is not big but it is clean and comfortable, and the brunch is also great. Transportation is OK: exit Ito Station, follow the main road on the right hand side all the way to the triangle, see "界", and keep going up. The hotel also has road signs. The boss is as gentle and polite as the online reviews, and his English is very professional. I was thankful and happy to be sent to the station by the boss himself. Reminder: If you have large luggage and are lucky enough to live on a high floor, you need to go up and down the stairs, and the hotel does not provide luggage handling when you check out. I was lucky and met the waiter that day, a handsome college student, who also spoke very fluent English. He helped move to the cable car entrance. Remember, remember, remember! Unfortunately, it seems that you can no longer book hotels on Ctrip in the future, but you can on the official website. All in all, it is a wonderful experience to fall asleep and wake up in the room listening to the cicadas.

The service is very good. When you check in, the staff will explain the hotel facilities in detail. The hot spring is great. Take the small train (elevator) to the top floor, but it is too noisy, and it feels like a storm is coming. A car will be sent to the station when you check out

I came to this century-old restaurant for the second time after six years. The bathhouse on the top of the mountain was mixed bathing for men and women back then, but now it is completely separated. I ordered a night and two meals, and the sashimi was fresher. The boss came back from studying in the United States and speaks very good English. I especially thank him for recommending our fishing spot and calling a taxi to take us there.

After changing into the inn's slippers in the lobby, they go through a simple check-in procedure and are informed of the hotel's information (the opening hours of the two hot springs, which include indoor hot springs and mountaintop open-air hot springs, with separate time periods for men and women. The hot spring on the mountaintop can be reached by a small cable car, which is very interesting and rare; the optional breakfast time is a typical Japanese breakfast, which is very rich and delicious). Our time at this ryokan was amazing. From the moment of meeting to check-out, one could feel care, goodwill, and hospitality. I had dinner and breakfast in the traditional style off; I arrived a little earlier to leave my things, confirm the time for dinner/breakfast and go for a walk. The girl at the reception speaks very good English, quickly explained the main points to me, and also clarified my plans, suggested how to get to the zoo and the observation deck on Omuro, and gave me a voucher for a discount on tickets (a small thing, but nice). My room was on the third floor, it was very cozy and warm, and what a stunning view it had from the large panoramic windows; An interesting feature is that the funicular operates at certain hours, so you can climb up to your room by sticking to the window. Dinner and breakfast were filling and very tasty. I didn’t even think that sleeping on a tatami would be so comfortable, I slept wonderfully, it was nice that the bed was laid out and cleaned. This was my first onsen experience. And this was what we needed after busy days in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. An open-air onsen is great, since there is fresh air, the head heats up more slowly, which allows you to prolong the pleasure. The ryokan also has a couple of foot massage machines, it was great to massage your feet and calves after the onsen. Another nice thing was that upon check-out they offered to take us to the train station, which was very convenient. This is such a rest for body and soul, an incredibly pleasant overload.

We were looking for an authentic ryokan with history and we found it. Delicious kaiseki, beautiful yukata. It’s cool that the onsen is on the roof, with a good view of the city. And a cute funicular takes you to the roof. Walked from the train station in 15 minutes, the hotel provides a free transfer back

I decided to book this Japanese hotel after reading the reviews of guests on Ctrip. It is said that the hotel can only be checked in after 4 pm. I happened to buy a 2-day ticket at Ito Station, so I took a bus to Omuroyama for a tour, and returned to the hotel to check in. The hotel staff can communicate in English. I heard that they are Chinese, so I took a special Chinese description and booked the hotel's dinner and breakfast time. After that, I enjoyed the meals in the room for two days. The open-air hot spring on the roof is great, and you have to take a small cable car to go up. You can't take pictures in the hot spring, so I took pictures of the hot spring when no one was around. There are no duplicate meals for two days and four meals! The boss's wife drove me to the JR station on the day I left. Thank you very much to all the staff of the hotel!
