Location is good, just 10 mins walk from Ito Station to the hostel. I have enjoyed thoroughly in my stay there. The public area is well maintained, the Kitchen is also very clean. Besides the public onsen, they have another 2 private onsens cater for shy people. Will definitely visit K's House Ito Onsen and the other hostels in other parts of Japan.

Location: Go straight ahead on the road in front of Ito Station (passing by 7-11) and walk 50 meters to the left side of the small road at a super large intersection. Check-in reminder: Check-in time is from 3pm to 8:30pm. I didn't pay attention at first and arrived just in time. After checking in, I picked up my phone and found that the hostel sent me an email to remind me. If you arrive late, the gate will be closed and there will be no staff; be sure to contact the hostel in advance to see how to get the key. Environment: It used to be a hot spring hall. I like it very much. It is very clean and comfortable. You need to change your shoes in the hostel (I choose to go barefoot, hehe, comfortable) Facilities: There are free public and private baths for men and women. I never went into the public bath to see it. It's just a big pool. The private bath is actually a small bathroom. There is a clean compartment for clothes. Behind another door is the bathroom we understand: the shower head and the small pool for bathing. No reservation is required. If there is no one, just go in directly. There are toiletries inside. There is a public area for eating and working on the first floor, as well as a kitchen and refrigerator, which are all spacious and clean. The design of the entire hostel is very Japanese style (I just love it)

A very nice place. The building is the Ito Historical Building Tokaikan. Next door is the Tokaikan Museum and Hot Springs. But staying here also has separate hot springs for men and women, and it's great. There are five public areas inside, which are very spacious and bright. You can drink tea and chat. I met people from New Zealand, France, Taiwan and other places. The room is tatami, and men and women are mixed, but it's not disturbing. The room has a balcony and you can see the scenery in front of the window

A homestay in a historical building. The renovation is very unique. The management is very safe, and each room is designed independently. You can go to the public hot springs to take a bath, which is clean and convenient. The sound insulation is not good, so you have to put headphones in to sleep

Facilities: Although simple, they are sufficient. The hot springs are so refreshing. It is worthy of being a century-old store. Hygiene: Very clean. Environment: Although a little noisy, it is fine at night. Service: The service staff was very patient, introduced the use of public facilities, and emphasized the need to keep quiet.

It was renovated from a former hot spring hotel. As a youth hostel, the atmosphere is full and the relevant facilities are relatively complete. There are lockers that can be locked and you can store things at the front desk. It is not far from the station, about a quarter of an hour walk. The front desk speaks very good English

The accommodation is very good, antique, you can soak in hot springs every day, the location is also very good, close to the station, there are cars everywhere, there are commercial streets around, there are many places to eat, I recommend the steak by the sea, it is cheap and delicious. I highly recommend it, the disadvantage is that the sound insulation is poor when sleeping, there is no hot water in the room to brush teeth and wash face

The mixed room can sleep 5 people. It is not cold in the early spring. There are all kinds of facilities, especially the kitchen on the first floor, which is very convenient for making breakfast! There don't seem to be many people who like hot springs. If you like it, you can chat with everyone in the public area at night.

I stayed in the most expensive premium Japanese-style room with river view, but I couldn't sleep properly because there were multiple rooms upstairs and the ceiling was banging all night long. The old house was not soundproofed at all. If you want to experience a Japanese-style old house, you can come here. If you want to have a good rest, it is not recommended. It is really impossible to sleep!

I found a big cockroach when I went up the stairs, but the old house is indeed like this. Overall it is very good, the roommates are also very friendly, and the wooden room is very atmospheric.

Very Good

How can I put it... If I were young and came to Japan for the first time, I would have loved it here. Because of the novel experience, I stepped on the creaking wooden floor in a century-old building and looked out the window at the reflected pines and cypresses, the stream with floating ducks, and the distant mountains. But, maybe my expectations were a little high or I was used to staying in good Japanese-style hot spring hotels, or maybe it was because I didn’t book a room with a private bathroom. This was my first youth hostel experience in my life, and the overall feeling was average. Because the first floor has been renovated, there are many spaces for gatherings or resting alone. Each window has a view, creating a harmonious and comfortable Japanese leisure atmosphere. There is even a computer (but of course it is not easy to use or turn on). The small kitchen is big enough for one person to boil water for making noodles and tea. Room, average. It may be rainy for days and there may be insects. The public restrooms are cramped. It’s also strange. I have stayed in various Japanese-style hotels that have been renovated from century-old houses. Some of them also use public restrooms. They are all old but clean, comfortable and interesting. I even stayed at a Nagano temple overnight, which was extremely simple and very comfortable. comfortable. But Khouse found it uncomfortable and unhygienic. Of course, foreigners like this kind of place, seeking cultural curiosity, gathering and chatting on the first floor, and sleeping on the ground floor at night. Some foreigners who are not familiar with Japanese hot springs enter the pool directly. Comparative diaphragm response. In short, it is recommended to more cautious travelers who have never experienced a Japanese-style old hotel. The price is really not expensive, so don’t compare it with hot spring hotels that cost thousands more. It doesn't mean the same thing. The Dongkai Pavilion next door has the same style. It has history and culture, but I personally think it is a bit too old. Eating nearby is convenient. The eel rice opposite requires reservation at least one day in advance (peak season). It takes 4 minutes to take a taxi from the station and 8-10 minutes to walk. Overall 3.5 points, most likely it's my own problem. But my daughter also feels average. Youth hostels are still suitable for young foreigners and foreign families who are visiting Japan for the first time.

It's a very Japanese-style hotel. You stay in a Japanese-style room. There are tatami mats and a coffee table in the room. To sleep, you need to take the mattress and bed from the cupboard. It looks very clean. There is a relatively large balcony outside, equipped with two wicker chairs and a glass round table. It is quite good to sit for a while and look at the river view outside the balcony when you have time. It has a different feeling. Be careful to close doors and windows at night, as there are more mosquitoes in summer. There is a private hot spring on the second and third floors, which is a small private hot spring. It is said to be a hot spring but it feels like a bathroom with a small bath. However, it would be nice to be able to soak alone for a while. But if you want to go out of your way to soak in a hot spring, it’s better to go to a specialized hot spring store. The bathroom is public, toothbrushes are charged, washing machines are also charged, luggage can be stored for free, and the kitchen and microwave can also be used for free. In addition, it is said that this house is a hundred years old and is a tangible cultural property. I have not verified it specifically, but it does seem to be quite old. Overall, this is a good choice if you want to experience a one-night stay in a Japanese-style room.

I feel comfortable. There are free hot spring baths. I am particularly satisfied with the fact that there is a free private hot spring. The accommodation is on the ground with tatami mats. The disadvantage is that there is nothing interesting in the city itself. I just go to the surrounding areas, so I can only stay in the inn at night.
