Sasakura Onsen Ryuunso

This secret hot spring really exceeded our expectations. We must come here when it snows in winter. The hotel staff was very responsible and even helped me find my lost items. The hotel has a shuttle bus service. You can make a reservation by phone to pick up and drop off at Itoigawa. Very convenient.

A member inn of the Japan Hidden Hot Springs Association. Both the exterior and the interior have the atmosphere of a public inn, not the atmosphere of a secret hot spring inn. I used it for a day trip bath. There are three baths, but the quality of the spring water at the smallest, Senju no Yu, is by far the best. The hot spring water is flowing directly from the source, and the flowers are dancing. This is the only place that is different.

I've stayed at various hotels, but it's been a long time since I've stayed at a variety of hotels. I was able to come across a ryokan that exclaimed, It might have been the best place I've stayed this year. The view from the guest room was a peaceful landscape that made my heart feel warm. I was impressed by the wonderful welcome service and the response from all the staff. The hot springs are fed directly from the source. The view from the open-air bath was also great. It was a hot spring with three features: you can drink the hot spring, and you can enjoy the hot spring by looking at it, entering it, and drinking it. The food is beautifully presented and seasoned carefully and to perfection. I'm itching to repeat it as soon as possible.

I used to go around secret hot springs in other prefectures, but I stayed here because there are wonderful secret hot springs in the prefecture and the prices are modest. It runs about 30 minutes from the city of Itoigawa, and although it is remote, there is no sense of seclusion, and the building is relatively new, so you can not feel the atmosphere of a secret hot spring, but the quality of the spring is the best. The Senju-no-Yu that everyone recommends has a lot of blackish Yunohana, and the open-air Tsubo-yu has just the right temperature, so you can enjoy the autumn leaves. Ryuun-no-Yu does not have Yunohana, but it feels a little slimy and smooth. The tub bath, which seems to be newly built in Ryuun no Yu, smelled of wood and I enjoyed it even more. Except for the hot springs, even though it is an inn in the mountains, it is Itoigawa, so both mountain and sea meals are served. It may not be enough for men, but I am satisfied because they are all delicious and freshly made. The porridge made from hot springs was deliciously eaten with a slight scent, which I thought might be a little more hot spring odor. The water around the room and the interior were clean, and I was able to spend a comfortable time. Looking at the word-of-mouth, insects appear in the summer and it seems to be subtle, so I would like to visit this time in the winter.
