Stayed here 2 nights for close proximity to a conference. Located adjacent to train station, bus and taxi rank. Noise not an issue. The hotel is old, basic but agreeable for the price. The room is smallish, especially the bathroom. The bed is quite comfortable. Complimentary toiletries are good quality. Breakfast is included. It’s traditional japanese. Grandma in the kitchen is worth price of admission alone. Her enthusiasm is admirable. Proper machine coffee. There’s some good eating options within a few mins walk. And a terrific little whiskey bar run by lovely old couple. Situated down a side alley, if you can find it - follow small purple sign on main street.

It is a new and clean building in a hotel located in front of the station. The parking lot is on the back side beyond the track, so it is close by foot, but it takes about 10 minutes by car. If you go by car, it is recommended to stop in front of the hotel and then move to the parking lot after receiving the explanation. The room was small but new and clean, and the water pressure of the hot water was good. It seems to be a business hotel, so if you can choose, the room away from the elevator is recommended. If you stay in the front room, you can hear the voice guide at the arrival of the elevator. There was a public bus and it was good to put it in the foot. It was a little disappointing that I couldn't use it because I had a large powder room at present. There was a little trouble about the parking fee, but I was very polite in the exchange by the phone. The hotel that responds firmly at such a time can stay with peace of mind. I will do it here if I go nearby again.

I had a job in fukuroi city and stayed here. Close to national Route 1, access to Iwata city and fukuroi city is good, and there are restaurants and convenience stores around the hotel, very convenient location ^_^ There is also a large bath in artificial hot springs, which healed the fatigue of work! There were coin laundry, vending machines and restaurants, and the staff were polite and nice. The room is a bit small but clean and clean. It is a recommended hotel if you stay overnight.

Stayed in August 2019. Business hotel located 5 minutes walk from the north exit of JR kakegawa station where the Shinkansen stops. The appearance and the room are clean and clean. Check-out is 10:00. There are many restaurants around. Since the convenience store is the nearest to Lawson kakegawa station in front of kakegawa station north exit of kakegawa station, it is better to use it before going to the hotel from the station to the hotel. There is no private parking lot, so you need to use the nearby coin parking. It is very beautiful to see Kakegawa Castle, which is lit up from the front of the hotel. As a business hotel, it is a hotel without any special problems☆

I stayed at the Dormy Inn for 3 nights during the rugby World Cup. First let me state that there is very little to do in Kakegawa apart from visiting the castle, so if you are heading here as a tourist there are probably better places to stay. Back to the hotel ! I arrived a little early (around 12) and my room was not available , so I had to leave my bags in reception and wait until around 3pm to get my key. There was no issue with the language barrier. The hotel is not far from the station with a 10 minute walk along the main road getting you there. The room itself was average size for Japan, but the outlook from the window was pretty bleak onto a back alley. However, it was clean and comfortable there were no issues with the exception of the pillows which were rock hard. All amenities were available in the room although the sink being in the bedroom rather than the shower area was a little strange. The Wi-fi was perfect, but dont look for any English language station on the TV as there was none. In terms of restaurant, there is one for breakfast with a reasonable selection of both Western and Japanese food. I never saw it open during the day or evening. However, as a bonus it does open up around 9.30 in the evening with free ramen noodles for the hungry. Coffee is always available on demand in the foyer which is another good point. On top of the hotel is a typical Japanese thermal bath...great for the aches after a busy day ! All in all a good hotel for the price.....

My family and I stayed at the Hotel Concorde for 5 days in August, and we enjoyed a lovely and very memorable experience during our stay. The lobby is very big, but furniture and decor is a little dated and could do with an eventual renovation. A good front desk/reception staff is the hallmark of a great hotel. As non-Japanese visitors to a less frequented area of Japan, we expected to have some difficulties communicating in Hamamatsu. Though this was largely the case, we were pleasantly surprised at the lengths hotel staff would go to in order to ensure we had a good experience. We arrived at around noon, earlier than the supposed 3pm check-in time. Our luggage from Tokyo had been sent via luggage delivery service, and the front desk informed us that all our luggage would be kept securely in the room and would be available upon check-in. We passed the time in the hotel restaurant - understandably, some staff could not understand us at first but made every possible effort to try and communicate with us. The hotel restaurant (which also serves daily buffet breakfast, lunch, and à la carte dinner) had a decent selection and we found it sufficient for our needs. Upon check-in at 3pm, we received complimentary water bottles and a single physical key to our room. Unfortunately, this is the only key, making staying in a room with other people a little inconvenient. Elevators are fast and frequent, offering access to coin laundry, food and beverage vending machines, ice machines, an unagi and a Japanese restaurant, as well as guest rooms. An amenity station is provided at the entrance to each floor, where guests can help themselves to instant tea and coffee, toiletries, and even a clothing press. Rooms are basic but clean and practical. Adapters are provided upon request. There are robes and slippers within the drawers, a bag for dirty towels, and tea bags. One feature my family appreciated was a laundry status channel on the television, in which guests can see which laundry machines are in use, and how much time each has left. Our room had an amazing view of the Hamamatsu City Hall and the Hamamatsu Castle. The housekeeping schedule can be variable - there was one day where the maids were just getting started on our room at 3pm. However, cleaning seems to be fast and efficient. In terms of location, we eventually settled on the Hotel Concorde due to its proximity to a friend's apartment. It is about a 15-minute walk from the Hamamatsu train station. A Family Mart is located just across the street, and there is a beautiful Starbucks location in the Hamamatsu Castle park. Taxis don't seem to pass by the area too often, but hotel staff can always make a call for you. Though there isn't a large selection of restaurants nearby, most locations are within a 10-minute walk. The breakfast is very diverse, be sure to bring breakfast! The location is very good, close to Hamamatsu station. It also has its own bathhouse. You can take a bath in the morning and evening. I didn't try the bathhouse, but the location is good enough.

最初駅から向かった時に迷ってしまい(GPSつけながら向かったのですが、私が方向音痴なのとGPSがうまく作動しなかった為)地元の方に聞いてやっと着きました。何の事はない私が大回りしていただけで、JR浜松駅中央の通路を遠鉄百貨店と反対の方に出れば、5分程で着きます。有名な餃子屋さん(むつ菊)はホテルの裏にあります。 着いて荷物を預けた時にアメニティについて特に説明が無かったのですが、部屋着や綿棒、フットピロー等はフロントに言えば借りられます。エレベーター横に部屋着、綿棒等は置いてあります。部屋は広くはないですが、清潔で使いやすかったです。私は机の前の椅子には座らず、もっぱらベットからテレビを見ていました。 2泊しましたが朝食は日替わりで、パンの種類も変わりました。スムージーもです。１日目はウナギご飯を食べそびれたので、2日目は早めに行き食べる事が出来ました！種類は多くないですが、無料の朝食はありがたかったです。 一つ中々慣れなかったのが洗面所の蛇口です。最後までどっちに回せば蛇口？シャワー？ってなっていました(自分が慣れなかっただけです。。)お風呂にお湯を入れる時に、蛇口の長さが少し足りない気がしました。 あとよかったのはウェルカムドリンクです。１４時からコーヒー、レモン水が飲めます(コーヒーはもっと早くから飲めた気もします) 全体的にとても良いホテルライフでした。また機会があれば他のコンフォートホテルにも泊まってみたいです。

It was an inn in a complex building, and it was a facility like a spa and a cartoon cafe. Because it was near the station, there were many restaurants around, and it was convenient to have a food court and fast food shop in 1F of the building. The hall was new and kept clean. The common space is large and there is plenty of work space, so you can read manga and put it in hot springs and saunas. The sliding door of the cabin type room was not locked, but a sensor key of the wristband was required to enter the living area, and a diamond where valuables could be placed on the living desk. There was a Le-type locker. Also, it seemed that large lockers could be used if you get the key at the front desk. The inside of the building was only available for spa (no accommodation), and it felt like local young children were also using it, but it didn't feel noisy in the shared space, and the living space was quiet. The point that I want to improve is the staff's response guide at check-in. At check-in, I was told that the room number and the entrance and exit of the living area required a key, but there was no guide map in the hall at the front desk, ”There is a guide in the hall in the back and a detailed guide to the room. Please look at it.” The front desk staff immediately started talking with each other. For those who use it for the first time, even if it was said that there was a guide in the hall ”in the back”, it was not a pointer or a guide to where the ”inner” was actually, so I searched for a guide board. It took me a while to find my room. I think it's good to have you read the information on the use of the building in the file in the living room, but at least use the information map in the building at the front desk, ”the location of the front room, the route to the room” I think it's better to have you guide me. I think there is a lot of room for improvement as a front desk job to neglect the response of the customer and increase the time to talk between the staff. There was inconvenience in responding at check-in, but the response of the front desk at check-out and the cleaning staff at the time of use in the building were very polite and pleasant.
