This is a beautiful little gem of a family-run hotel, tucked away from the main road, and after a long flight, it was a really welcome sight, shining like a beacon in the night. We checked in and fell asleep until after midday, on one the most comfortable beds, and after the endless cold and rain in Scotland, it was a joy to sleep under just one soft white sheet. We didn't make it to breakfast for the first day, but when we did, it was delicious, well laid out and offering a full cooked or continental buffet, with assorted juices and fresh fruit. We ate ours in the cool courtyard, which, covered with vines and assorted plants, really was an absolute delight! The hotel inside and out, is spotlessly clean, and the team of ladies work hard to keep it so. I like that we were given pool towels, although we had taken our own. The pool was so refreshing, but the highlight of the pool area can only be the FANTASTIC café, with the best fresh food, cooked to order by Marie - she of the endless energy, patience and humour! The reception staff, Julie, Paolina and Fotini were brilliant, full of advice on trips - which we booked and thoroughly enjoyed, to Symi Island, and Marmaris in Turkey, two thrilling excursions. Best value for money is the around the island tour. It was by far and away the most informative and enjoyable because Crystal, the tour guide was so knowledgeable. If you only do one trip, this is the one I would recommend. After a day out and about, it was good to come back and have a cocktail, (OR TWO) mixed by Kevin, master barman! All in all, this is why I'm giving 10/10 for everything, and why I shall be back again in 2025. ps, sorry if I spelled your names wrong <3
