We, a family of 4, stayed 6 nights at Movenpick, in early Sept. 2022. We had a pleasant stay there. Our family room was very convenient incl. very comfortable beds and clean bath and Jacuzzi. The room facilities were perfect. The location of the hotel was very good and the taxi station was just attached to the hotel. Hotel has a very good Gym and indoor pool. Receptions and staff were very polite and helpful. Totally hotel is recommended for both Business and touristic trips. The negative points in my opinion were: -lack of balcony -Breakfast was not at the level of a 5-star hotel. The variety of hot breakfasts were very few and hot breakfasts were very fatty and oily.

While the hotel is a suitable location for its nearby industrial metro station and easy access, the market restaurant etc is very satisfactory for the services and room service price performance, The cleaning and indoor equipment also provides a simple standard service. Can we get it again? Why not a choice that can be assessed until FP finds better accommodation already?

Considering the price, it really can't be given a negative evaluation. The hotel is more suitable for self-driving tours. A big road is at the doorway and there is a big supermarket next to it. It's like a business hotel of the 1990s in the third-tier city. I'd give it full marks.

Location: Self-driving, very late after picking up the car, check-in directly to the hotel, very close to the airport. This is in the best hotel we have stayed in Izmir. We checked out yesterday and will be back again. Walking through the lobby, I was immediately struck by the warmth and kindness of the owner and staff. The hotel staff was extremely kind, professional, attentive, friendly and helpful and multi lingual. The rooms were clean, spacious and well equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The hotel has its Hamam (Turkish bath), swimming pool and spa. Here for business? 2 very large, well equipped conference rooms are available for your business needs. What makes this hotel truly stand out to me is the location. It’s smack dab in the middle of everything. Walking distance to the famous Knok Bazaar and surrounded by every store imaginable. The hotel is bit of small at the entrance. But the inside the hallway is very space. I had the larger corner suite, and bathroom is very big. I also had the spa service, it is also very nice. One small area to improve is the lounge room size, and food items. Lounge is small, and food items are lack of hot items, and often is not refilled with it is empty. Nice free parking, and close to the sea. Breakfast at top has good view.

The hotel's rooms were clean, modern with very good facilities on high quality, breakfast was perfect offer not super large in variety but so delicious.. this is definitely not what drove me to make this feedback, what was exceptionally outstanding was the team, I have never seen this class of genuinely welcoming team with natural level of personal attentiveness, started from the receptionist Dedma who checked me in and was so professional, then the concierge tea. Deniz Deperli that made everything possible to ensure on guest's satisfaction and pleasant stay, as well her colleague Gezia that was taking a look around during breakfast with best attitude and smile checking on guests satisfaction. Sorry for lengthening, but there was as well an unforgettable approach by one humble kitchen worker, I requested a grilled Haloumi cheese that she prepared with pleasure, and 2 days later out of all other guests, she recognized me and with me asking, she asked me and said ” sir, maybe you would like some grilled haliumi, not only that but she has the most natural & genuine smile when I said ” yes, thank you ” This is by far my favourite hotel stay experience in life. Well done Marriott Izmir management and congratulations for having such a passionate people in your team.

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Istinye Park in early November. It was a completely wonderful experience, without exception. We were warmly greeted upon arrival, and check in was smooth. Our king balcony room was well appointed and the windows and balcony provided an amazing direct view of the Gulf of Izmir and the city. We were fortunate to arrive one hour before the fireworks to celebrate the Centennial of the Turkish Republic. We were able to enjoy the fireworks from our balcony. The hotel is perfectly located for easy access to Izmir city, and its suburbs, by foot, car, tram, metro and rail. Breakfast was very high quality and included a wide variety of fresh Turkish and western choices. Maja in Guest Relations was wonderfully friendly and helpful, and she made a dinner reservation for us at our desired restaurant on the Izmir waterfront. Thank you to Maja, and to all the professional staff at the Hyatt Regency Istinye Park!

A great girls long weekend in izmir, we decided to return to the authentic Karaca Hotel which is centrally located overlooking the gardens of the Swissotel Buyuk Efes. Our second stay here was just as great as the first. We had a beautiful room on the 4th floor facing the gardens. We had everything we could want in the room, tea and coffee machine, air con, a beautiful walk in shower. Everything was clean and authentically presented and the beds were so comfortable we actually didn't want to leave, or wanted to take the matresses home with us. The staff were amazing they were very helpful with calling for taxis, giving advice on things to do and places to visit, always happy and friendly to talk too.
