I love historic western hotels and The Wort is my favorite. Classic rooms with excellent service. Staff, to a person, was very nice and always helpful. We had steaks cooked perfectly at the restaurant. After dinner we moseyed over to the Silver Dollar bar for a fun Saturday night in Jackson Hole.

Excellent Hotel!! The only complaint was our room was on the W Deloney St side and the delivery trucks and trash trucks woke us up every morning before 7 am. Ask for an interior room. The restaurant and bar was excellent. The staff was excellent. Cozy hotel.

We love staying at The Wort. Great combination of history, art, and comfort. Location is ideal for downtown Jackson. Staff could not be friendlier or more helpful. Between the grille and the Silver Dollar Bar, food and drink are plentiful and varied.

Location is the Key!!! Perfect Hotel to spend your time in Jackson Hole!!! Walking distance to everything! Private Gated Parking Lot one block away. Beds and Pillows were Awesome ! Room was a Double Queen with lots a room and the Shower was Great! Our room was Spotless. We ate dinner at the Silver Dollar Bar and Grill it was Excellent and not overpriced at all. We also ate at the Million Dollar Cowboy Steakhouse ( for my 60th ) my wife had a steak and I had Trout and it was Amazing Great Service in a Awesome space again not overpriced. If I make back to Jackson Hole I'm staying at The Wort Hotel!!

The Wort was wonderful. The hotel and the staff are amazing--couldn't be better. The location is perfect--right downtown and assessable to great dining. We would totally recommend The Wort for your next stay in Jackson. We would definitely stay there again.

Location is perfect, Room decor recognizes the western heritage with paintings and furniture from a bygone era that are tastefully appointed. Beds are very comfortable. The Staff was attentive and friendly. Rooms on the Southside will be closer to live music from the Silver Dollar Bar and Grill played 7-11 some evenings.

My husband and I have been staying at the Wort for years, since we were in our mid 20s and now we're mid 50s. We love everything about the Wort, it's a historical establishment, but it's way past time to update the guest room bathrooms. You need to update the bathrooms, and the hair on hide chairs in the Lobby. Love the new dining room update!

We had a wonderful stay at Wort Hotel. Our Grand King was very spacious! Sitting in the heart of Jackson square allowed us to walk everywhere and truly enjoy the square. The concierge, Tara, assisted with tours and took time to ask how we enjoyed them. The hotel staff, in general, are all very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Jackson.
