We stopped here coming back from The Teton National Park- so cool going through the pass road area down into Jackson Hole- this hotel was easy to find and right within walking distance to the square- we only stayed the one night wish we had more time. Room was large, fridge in room and room was clean Older room but I opted for a balcony which looked right up

We were pleasantly surprised by the Ranch Inn. While the rooms clearly have not been updated, it was spacious and clean. The location is perfect being so close to the town square. The staff was very friendly as well. We would stay there again.

Great customer service and great location. Balconies and spacious rooms with ski or luggage drop zones just inside door. Coffee all day in lobby. Quick walk to downtown Jackson square to enjoy shopping and activities. Free parking and elevator. Daily housekeeping still offered without requesting!

The hotel is way over priced. We have been on a two month road trip, through five states and stayed in motels every night. This is by far the worst one. No hot water in the morning. Plumbing bubbles all night and keeps you awake.( First time experience for that) we booked two nights. Couldn't stay second night. Got a motel just down the street, alot nicer for less money. Don't make the same mistake we made!!!

We have been going to Ranch Inn in November during off season for 35 years. We always reserve Suite 201. We will not be returning. It breaks our heart. New owners. We had our normal suite but the oven/stove did not work. We could not cook the three days we stayed. They have stopped providing breakfast. They have stopped providing fire wood for the fireplace. You can buy $5 logs from the front desk. Our fire backed up in the night and filled our suite with smoke and we woke up in a cloud of smoke. No smoke detectors. We asked for a rate adjustment because we did not have a usable kitchen. They declined. Sad experience all around. It was our favorite.

Based on the amount of noise from 11pm to 1am, we suspect questionable activity. Based on the people stepping out for a smoke or sitting on the sidewalk, it appears there are long term occupants. What nightly rate discount do they get because we were lucky to get a minimal 10% for our tonight stay? The room was dated. Was clean. Bed was comfortable. Logistics to downtown was perfect.

A front desk person told us that the Ranch Inn will close permanently in early 2023 to be demolished to make room for a different type of housing. And that an automated computer system records the reservations and assigns rooms. Due to staff turnover, the person who made our reservation no longer worked there when we checked in; the person at the front desk was new and didn't know how to look up or interpret info in the computer. The room was clean and everything worked, even though most everything was dated, old, and well worn. Some of the upholstery was well worn down with broken threads sticking out, and some faucets were stained and caked with hard water deposits. The location is good, in walking distance to the most restaurants and shops in town. Overall, an overpriced, inferior place to stay.

Great location , ok room and terrible customer service. Had to leave a few days early because of a category 4 hurricane coming directly for our home. The Managers came to desk with looking like a circus clown with purple and yellow make up on(very unprofessional in my opinion) when i asked her about not charging for days i would not be there or a credit for another time she told me she was not sure if they would be in business in a couple months. I can get past the older room and even the clogged shower that didnt drain but i cant get past the way i was treated during a natural disaster. Never again!

For the money paid, definitely did not meet the mark. Location was good in relation to city center. Towels in bathroom were of poor quality (was like using sandpaper to dry off). Pillows on bed were poor quality and not comfortable at all. Staff was inadequate in their knowledge of the area when asked questions about restaurants nearby and taxi service. I would definitely not stay at this location again, ever!
