Historic touches to everything very special. Lovely place to visit inside and on the street of the hotel. Parking is in the public lot behind the hotel which was okay. At least it was free! The rooms are comfy but small. This seemed all the more authentic to me. Nice modern touches like flat screen tv in every room, perfect temperature, nice shower and bed. No coffee maker in rooms but nice hours for free continental breakfast with coffee on the main floor. All of the staff I met were very nice. I would come again.

Pleasant front desk check-in, room was clean, bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless with nice toiletries. My only gripe was the so called breakfast. I chose to have cold cereal but the milk was in a small refrigerator it was in a plastic 1/2 gallon container and everyone was using it. I didn't like everyone else's hands touching the container top and handle. All of the utensils were cheap plastic.

This was during an weekend event and the hotel's restuarant was closed the entire time as well as most of the restaurants on the street since the street was blocked off. The event "closed" at 5 pm and we were basically left with apples and snack bars for dinner.

Gorgeous old building with some fun features. The main street was very quiet early in the week but was coming to life by the time we left it. Would definitely stay here again!
