Senthil Complex

This is basic a hotel but we grew to like it after two nights. Its situated away from the town centre in a quiet street. There is good secure parking and they have rooms for drivers. First impressions are that the furniture and fittings are all very dated and the bed was okay. However, our double room was huge with a big bathroom and small terrace. The a/c and ceiling fan,kept the room cool. Two bottles of water are supplied in the room and also at breakfast. The whole hotel was clean. We also had a bag of laundry cleaned at a reasonable charge, which was a bonus and there is an ironing board and iron set up for use, if required. The is a large communal fridge with a good freezer compartment. They also have cold cans of beer available..... . We were away early one morning to visit Delft Island, and they supplied a picnic with some sweet, curried flavoured rolls,banana and water. Breakfast, western one, was quite simple,with a three egg omelette, toast, small bowl of chopped papaya and coffee or tea. The owner and staff were very pleasant and efficient. In summary, "for the price" it is great value and on reflection we would be happy enough to stay there again.
