Sunday Hotel Jaipur

Appalling. On 2nd night there was a RAT (MOUSE) in our friends room on the same floor 431. Having informed reception they were moved to another room on the same floor near the gym. We were helping them with moving stuff- on my entering 420 room I spotted movement of something running across, I informed the staff member who was helping with the move (think it was Amit). He was on the floor looking under the bed with his torch when the RAT darted out from under the bed and ran across the room. HI screamed and jumped on the bed. This is a total heath and safety issue. The hotel has a a rat infestation. This was the end of our holiday- the rest of the stay we could not settle and had a sleepless night. We were not happy to even dine in the restaurant as the kitchen could also be a health issue. On questioning another member of staff we understand that this hotel had a rat issue- why was nothing done about it? The hotel should be CLOSED, pest control and safety issues dealt with. It HAS to be cleared by health officials before being opened to guests. AMIT CONFIRMED HE SAW THE RODENT HIMSELF. Our friends who booked independently via another booing site have taken photographs which they will be forwarding. We felt absolutely sick on leaving the hotel and the rest of our stay in Jaipur was marred by this experience as we were suffering from sickness and diarrhoea. We demand a full REFUND ON OUR STAY as it was a horrifying experience and was a risk to our health.

Very kind and polite staff. Great location. There is a swimming pool at the rooftop but couldn’t use during the day since there is no shade and closes at 7pm.

A Very Disappointing Experience – Beware of the Front Desk Service I booked this hotel after reading positive reviews, but my experience was far from what I had expected. Although the architecture and ambiance are quite appealing, with the hotel being centrally located, my overall experience was frustrating and disappointing. Room Issues: I checked in on a Friday afternoon with a reservation for two deluxe rooms, one made through another booking site. After completing the formalities, I was led to my room, only to find that it was claustrophobic, with no natural sunlight and no view. The room felt cramped, and the condition was far from what I had imagined based on the reviews. The bedsheets were dirty, which was unacceptable, and I had to request a change immediately. When I went to the front desk to report the issue, the response was disappointing. I was told that the hotel was fully booked and that no other rooms were available. However, I noticed that many rooms on the property appeared to be vacant, and I hardly saw any families staying there. This made me question the validity of their claim. Unresolved Concerns: Later that evening, around 8 PM, I witnessed another family being moved to a different room, even though the staff had told me earlier that the hotel was sold out. This made me feel like my concerns were being ignored and that the staff was simply not interested in accommodating my needs. When I spoke to the staff member who was assisting the other family, he showed no interest in addressing my concerns or offering any explanation. He walked away without even an apology or any attempt at a solution, which left me feeling humiliated and frustrated. And at last at the time of checkout no one came to pick up the luggages, me an my family dragged the luggages by own. Food Quality: I had opted for both breakfast and dinner at the hotel, hoping for a decent meal. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was subpar. After trying both meals, I decided to venture out and dine at other restaurants in the city, where I had a far better experience. The hotel’s food was not worth the price, and I strongly suggest that future guests consider eating outside the hotel. Staff and Service: The most frustrating aspect of my stay was the lack of professionalism and courtesy at the front desk. The staff there seemed disinterested in addressing any of my concerns, and their overall attitude was indifferent and unhelpful. It was disheartening to feel like my issues were not taken seriously. However, I do want to commend the waitstaff in the restaurant. They were attentive, polite, and genuinely respectful, which was a refreshing contrast to the front desk staff. It’s clear that they value customer service, unlike the reception staff. Final Thoughts: To the hotel management: I hope you take this feedback seriously. Great hotel but let down by F&B. Suite rooms are huge and beautifully decorated. Beds are firm though. Hotel is located in a start district with nice restaurants nearby. Rooms are excellent value for money. Sadly the Barman tried to rip us off by serving a high class wine when we ordered house wine. We had 12 glasses between a group of friends so the price difference was huge so beware. Breakfast was dreadful. Pastries were stale and eggs were full of salt. You’re be better having the Indian curry buffet.

It was a good Servies by Akash bhai and Surender bhai and always helpful person. They give us nice hospitality thank u so much . They are will mannered and polite and my room number is 430 . Hotel Sunday food quality is superb and good facilities.

We celebrated New Year’s Eve at the Sunday Hotel in Jaipur, and it was an amazing experience. The party was vibrant and well-organized, with great food and entertainment. Special thanks to Ms. Harjinder Kaur and Mr. Pavan, whose kindness and attentiveness made our evening unforgettable. Their warmth truly set the tone for a memorable celebration.
