Rooms are basic but you get what you pay for. So at £30 per night you get a basic clean room. Aroma is a little muggy, but I felt that maybe down to extensive renovation work being done throughout the hotel. However rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Food in the restaurant is delicious and breakfast is tasty too. This is mainly the reason behind us stopping at the hotel. Location is central and close to many other restaurants. Reception staff hospitality is questionable, laundry service ruined some of our clothes and mystery door knocking in the middle of the night happened consecutively over our stay. No safes in the room, iron is so basic I couldn’t use it because of the fear of burning my clothes. Finally, customers feedback or comments are disregarded, but as said before ‘you get what you pay’. Paid £30 per night and service and standards were of the same value!
