The hotel was nice and spacious. It was right in front of the beach which allowed me to have an amazing view of the sun set and sun rise.

My first time stay in hamdeok. Freezing cold outside but the location is the best, bus stops and eateries all nearby and the reception man is very kind with a smiley face all the time. The high floor room is really comfortable with disposable amenities provided and big towels, and the sea view from the room is superb. Watching people lighting up fire crackers at the beach at night is so beautiful. Sitting comfortably and warm in the room watching these people enduring the cold to have fun, it was an unforgettable sight. Could have stayed for more than 1 night. They have an extra key card inserted so need not remove card when going out, convenient. Was a bit concerned when saw the chain latch at the door appeared broken. Nevertheless I slept well and no disturbances of noises at all.

The hotel looks decent, especially from the outside in the evening - lives up to the name Grand Hotel. Since it was built in 2003, it feels a little tired and not as modern as the nearby hotels on the first line. There is a lot of furniture in the room, it has a touch of antiquity and traces of renovation (cosmetic repairs) are visible. Towels are changed every day, water is also provided (free of charge). There is a cooler downstairs - not all hotels have it. Overall, everything was fine. But the price seems a little high.

I actually happened to stay at this hotel years ago!! Interesting to be back at the same place! Though, 6 years ago, there was no folding table and noisy beach chair in my room. There was a simple coffee table and actual longer chair there. Plus, the bed was actually comfortable. This time, however, the bed was extremely stiff and stifling. Also, it was very clear that no one ever cleans the windows nor the mirror in the bathroom. They are all foggy, grainy, and streaked. I definitely closed the blinds while I stayed there this time. Interesting how different my experiences at this hotel were 6 years ago and just this past weekend. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures this time.

Very clean, excellently located, great housekeeping. The receptionist was a bit, let's say, not enthusiastic, but it doesn't matter.. You can leave baggage at the reception before check in and after check out. I enjoyed immensely my stay. Also I recommend the breakfast buffet.

I highly recommend this hotel. The room was clean and the bathroom was update with newer toilet and a shower. Also you cannot beat the breakfast deal within hotel for the price you pay. I didn’t get the package deal with room and breakfast and paid more on coffee and a couple of pastries in the cafe on my first a few days. I wish I got the package deal from the beginning. They offer both continental breakfast style and Korea food. Everyday there was some changes in menu as well. You can have well balanced meal in buffet.

One bedroom and one living room with sea view costs NT$780, which I think is well worth it; There are several buildings in this hotel. My room is in the one closest to the sea. It is also on the road by the sea. There is a coffee shop downstairs, and you can see the sea view from the living room of the room. Disadvantages 1. The window glass is not clean, which affects the view a bit. 2. There is no elevator. We carried two large suitcases to the room ourselves.
