Hotels near Night Market on Friday (Pasar Malam Van Praagh) in Jelutong

This is truly the most thoughtful and attentive hotel I've stayed in recently. The facilities are excellent, fully equipped with every amenity imaginable (hair dryer, garment steamer, microwave, fridge...), I even spotted a curling iron, haha! The hygiene was superb; the room was spotless and tidy, and the projector in the living room made our evenings with friends incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. A special thank you to our wonderful hostess for her exceptional care and immense help during our trip to Penang. She took us out and treated us to delicious durian, took us to climb Penang Hill, and when she learned I liked the snacks in the room but didn't know where to buy them, she discreetly left a generous stash for me where we stored our luggage. She is truly wonderful, incredibly caring, and genuinely thoughtful. I highly recommend everyone to experience this! It truly felt like being cared for by family while away from home. So grateful ☺️. (It's a shame I didn't take photos of the room, so you'll just have to experience it for yourselves. It will definitely exceed your expectations!)

The house was clean and tidy. The location was very convenient and it is near to most of the place that i wanted to go. The carpark was just in front of the lift so it was super convenient if bring along elderly, because no need to walk to far to the lift. I wound definitely recommended this to my friends and familys. I definitely be back here again.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The apartment is spacious and generally comfortable, but the building is starting to show its age and some facilities feel a bit dated. The biggest downside is the elevators, which can be extremely slow during busy periods and sometimes require a long wait. That said, the experience was greatly improved by the operator, Uptrend Home Management. Their team was very responsive on WhatsApp, replied quickly to enquiries, and kindly arranged an early check-in for us, which was much appreciated after our journey. Their customer service was professional and helpful throughout the stay. Overall, while the building itself could benefit from some upgrades, the excellent management and support from Uptrend Home Management made the stay pleasant. Would consider staying again.

Everything is nice, clean & very comfortable and the space is just right for 7 adults. The owner is very responsive and give good suggestions & advice. We like the place very much and will definitely recommend it to family & friends. Will book again if we come to Penang again.

This was our second stay, and just like the first, the experience was excellent with great value for money. 👍 The room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were complete, making for a very comfortable stay. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby, and getting around is convenient. What we loved most was the apartment's swimming pool; the kids had a blast, making it perfect for families traveling with children. The whole family was very satisfied. We'll definitely choose this place again next time we visit. Highly recommended! 👍

Very good and satisfying. The facilities are complete, from a microwave, washing machine, and refrigerator, to even swimming goggles being provided. The location is also not far from the city center. However, the elevator can get a bit crowded during check-out times.

The room is fully equipped, spacious, bright, and beautifully decorated, giving a warm and welcoming home-away-from-home feeling. It's located in a high-rise residential building within the community, facing the sea, so every morning you can enjoy the beautiful sunrise over the ocean from the living room. The only minor issue was the communication during check-in. Initially, I could only use QQ email (as I don't have WhatsApp). Luckily, my husband bought a local SIM card and registered a temporary WhatsApp account, which made communication much smoother. Even getting the keys was a bit like a real-life escape room – the instructions were sent via WhatsApp, and we had to follow them to find the mailbox and keys.

Location is the best. Everywhere within 10-15mins House comes with hot & cold water filter. Very considerate owner. We no need to boil water. Many TVs to view. No need to fight over channels 😜 The only problem :- Toilets are too little n small. Totally cannot shower and change clothes inside. Actually only 1 toilet should make into shower & rge Other toilet as WC ! Lucky there are only 6 of us staying in the house. Cannot imagine more people 😢 by the time we took turn for shower we needed 2-3hours. Toilets also DO NOT have any holders to place or put any extra facial wash or toothbrushes. N 1 toilet sink already starting bend down. Time to refurbish the house. 😉

First time staying at service apartment, I don't like it very much. It looks more cumbersome than staying in a hotel. Feels like asking to live TV equipment is difficult to order. Air conditioning, dripping hall, no water service, but there are convenience stores around.
