The hotel is re has been centrally located at least you are fast in the city centre. The rooms are equipped with the most necessary. Unfortunately you hear the nearest train quite well. Breakfast was not included in our room price; € 8,- or € 4,- for children. The hotel has its own free parking. Recommended from the second floor, since the floor can be viewed directly from the parking area into the room.

It was my first time in the hotel, the staff is very welcoming and extremely friendly. Started with the check-in, very accommodating and helpful, restaurant staff was very helpful and even gave recommendations for little bars within Jena. Food was typical regional food and extremely tasty - regards to the chef. Meeting rooms are big and lunch is available as well. Rooms are practical but very quiet. Internet connection has not been an issue even on the 2nd floor. You can walk into the city center and train station Jena Paradies is very close by. Big parking space opposite side of the hotel. Can´t wait to come back !

The hotel is located in the middle of a 1960s high-density East-German-style housing district with a very 1990s-architecture, room furniture style reminiscent of a 1980s American Marriott (kind of faux-elegant), and movie decorations and photos from 1940s Hollywood with Bogart et al. (why, you may ask, Hollywood in Jena? Zeiss cine lenses?). In addition to being unspecifically dated, the hotel could also simply use a fresh coat of paint ... but: everything was clean, the personnel was super-friendly and helpful, the breakfast was plentiful and started at 6:00 (very accommodating for early risers!), the shower was nice and hot, and I had a very, very good-night sleep. The hotel is also close to a tram stop, supermarket, pharmacy, etc. In addition, we had a conference dinner there, which was a good-quality buffet with a variety of options, including vegetarian ones. Overall, a very good stay.

Beautifully located, close to the center (20 minutes walk). Comfortable, large building, parking. Large, comfortable rooms equipped with water heater! Large, clean bathroom . Very comfortable, large bed. Very diverse breakfast buffet and delicious coffee (very important for us). Nice service in reception and restaurant. I recommend!

A small jewel in the middle of the old town, super located, familiar and hearty! Families have everything they need (wooden beds, wheelboard, tools, washing machine etc.) and can enjoy the combination of a generous apartment with the comfort of a hotel. We (2 mothers with 2 babies under 1 year) were able to make the soul to be cut. The rooms are charming but conveniently furnished and therefore come in a great wooden optical. The balconies have a beautiful view of the indoor courtyard and special highlight was the roof terrace. Eat in the restaurant or breakfast is also worth it very, although not very cheap. All is fresh and made with love. The staff are like old friends and are happy to go to hand at any time. Most of all Ali and Bruno have dessert our stay. We had a long time and were happy to come back!

the staff (check in, breakfast, cleanstaff, etc) is so friendly and helpfull, very hospitable. The rooms are very good designed and stylish. Breakfast is plenty and lots of choice. it is situated in the middle of town.

a very nice hotel, in the center of Weimar. Polite and helpful staff. Room was splendid, Breakfast was great. I hope I’ll come back one day. and they have these little cards with quotes from Goethe, Schiller, etc. it‘s a nice touch. there‘s no room service

Location, lovely restaurant and great staff I booked because it’s right opposite the train station ….. but this hotel is so much more. Often ‘right opposite the train station’ means you are sacrificing something in terms of appearance and slight seediness for the convenience - but not here ! It’s a lovely old hotel (with a nice history), restored several times over the years, with a particularly impressive glass-surrounded restaurant for all meals. Location - as well as being on a pretty square right in front of the train station it’s less than 10 minutes’ easy straight line walk from the museums and the historic old town. There are plenty of nicely located hotels in the centre too by the way - just not as good for train access. The hotel restaurant is a real delight. Go for the breakfast buffet with some of the best prepared hotel bacon I have ever come across - crispy, fat-free and warm - plus all the usual egg, cereal, fruit salad and bread options. Standard coffee good German filter not espresso (though that’s available at the bar); orange juice average. Supper was freshly cooked smallish choice (these do go hand in hand, of course) - have a look at the menu in advance and if there’s something you like the look of eat here, quality is excellent. Staff very friendly; rooms moderate size, very clean, toiletries provided (shower gel and shampoo, no lotion or conditioner). Large non-leaky showers. You can claim a free snack if you forego your room servicing (!) ….. Rooms are non-smoking but they provide a smokers’ lounge for *******. To be recommended.
