Jianchuan Hotels with Gym

I like Shaxi so much! The hotel service is good. When we arrived at the ancient city, they helped us carry our luggage 🧳. We also upgraded to a king-size bed room. The weather was cold, but the electric heating baseboards were turned on and the whole room was still very warm! The welcome fruit was apples, which were very sweet. I recommend everyone to come on Fridays. The market is fun and the things are super cheap! The mango is super big and costs 10 yuan for 3 pounds! The beef is also delicious! The persimmon cake is also delicious. If you are not used to the smell of milk, don't buy milk buns and milk tofu, it is very fishy...

Stayed here for 2 nights. It is well-located on the side of the ancient town, allowing us to reach the main sights of Shaxi within 5-10mins walk. Easy with the luggages too if you are arriving in a car which can stop right at the main door. The suite was huge with separate living area, bathroom and had a nice wooden decor. Although it’s already been operating for many years, it felt brand new! Hotel compound itself was beautiful with an airy garden setting. We enjoyed taking breakfasts & afternoon tea at the outdoor benches by the dining hall. Even though it was fully-booked on one of the days, it never felt crowded at all. Staff were courteous, always smiling and happy to offer their services or advice. This is a property one should definitely consider if intending to spend more days in Shaxi & the neighbouring area, so that you could enjoy the hotel itself.

I had a fantastic stay at Yingju Inn. The hotel is located in the most central place of Shaxi village. But more importantly, the manager was very helpful and professional. She speaks perfectly English and was able to help me for many things. She indicated me all the sights to visit in the area, and she booked my bus for me. It worth to be noticed, because after almost one month in China, it was the first time that I had a hotel with an English-speaking staff.

The courtyard, with its fishpond, blew our mind soon as we stepped in. It's a green paradise. There is also a observation deck where you could see the countryside for miles. The rooftop has a laundry machine and clotheslines. A welcome to long travellers. During our stay I got sick and the owner called a tricycle to take me to the health clinic. He paid for the ride would not allow me to reimburse him. When we left, he helped arrange a taxi to take us to the next town.We enjoyed Shaxi and the stay at this inn.

The most worthwhile B&B in Shaxi Ancient Town | Waking up to the first ray of sunshine in the morning I have always wanted to come to Shaxi Ancient Town after seeing the windy places. I finally came here on this vacation. I chose a B&B by blind chance. The service is so good that I can't say anything. The aunt in the store is very enthusiastic. After chatting with the aunt, I learned that she came from the next village to work. We like to eat the rice noodles made by the aunt. Before leaving, she bought some for us to take away and gave us the traditional method of making brown sugar specialty. The whole B&B is in the style of a new Chinese courtyard. There are only nine rooms in such a large courtyard! The furniture is textured and aesthetically pleasing. From the design to the bedding and daily necessities, they are all extreme. The room is very well lit, and I woke up to the first ray of sunshine in the morning. In the afternoon, I drank tea and chatted in the teahouse on the second floor. I felt that the warm sun in Shaxi was really comfortable. It is worthy of being called ”Yunnan Five-Star B&B” and ”the most beautiful B&B” in Shaxi Town👍 After staying in the fast-paced city for a long time, this is a paradise to escape from the high-pressure environment.
