Thiis small boutique hotel is new n conveniently located at Shaxi old town walking distance to the old bridge and Rapeseed flower plantation. It is quiet, clean non-smoking with modern facilities rooms. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Heater is sufficient. WiFi is a bit unstable but hotel helps to fix it. Breakfast is good & personalized. Service is excellent. Hotel sends free cut fruits and white fungus desert to the room. There is laundry + dryer in the common area which is free to use. Excellent service and comfortable accomodation. Highly recommendable.

This hotel is a gem in Shaxi Town and should not be missed. We are happy to have had the opportunity to stay for 1 night, and only wished we had more days in Shaxi. The hotel is in a beautifully restored ancestral home, with rooms that are modern and beautifully appointed with a lot of thoughtful amenities provided. Breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious. The hotel staff from the ladies at the front desk to housekeeping were really friendly and helpful. They gave us recommendations on what to see and where to eat in Shaxi. We appreciated the extra touches such as having warm milk brought to our rooms as a nightcap. Special thanks to Yan Yan who took care of us on our last day and was also our teacher in the Jia Ma wood printing experience. We had a great time during the experience and left Shaxi with a special souvenir.

We really enjoyed our first stay in Shaxi on my anniversary visit to Yunnan Province. Thanks to the fantastic service provided by Miss Yang and her incredible staff, we really enjoyed our two day stay. Originally we were only planning to stay one night but after a long trip to the nearby grottos, asked to extend one night which Miss Yang was kind enough to accommodate. This guest house/hotel is brand new and has many modern amenities including a hot water pot, refrigerator, free snacks and drinks and more. Everything was brand new and well taken care of and the staff was extremely helpful navigating us from parking to the hotel. The location is also very central to much of what Shaxi has to offer. The breakfast noodles were a real treat! We will stay here again next year.

The room is clean and comfortable, the hardware is first-class, the courtyard is beautiful, and it is very quiet because there are not many rooms. I stayed for two nights. During breakfast, there were some flying insects because the door was open. The service staff also apologized, but I still think that the service should pay more attention to details, and the software should match the hardware. The service staff is enthusiastic, but I still feel that they are not very professional and lack some adaptability. I hope that they can improve when I come again in the future. The overall accommodation feeling is still good.

The B&B has a sense of history, but the service and hotel hardware are better than many five-star hotels in Shanghai. The room is thoughtfully prepared with many daily necessities for guests. I strongly recommend friends who come to Shaxi Ancient Town to stay here

High-end boutique homestay, close to the Beizhaimen of Shaxi Ancient Town, the courtyard environment is very good, the room is very comfortable, the service is very considerate, the green plum coffee brought by the coffee is delicious, I will stay here again next time

After careful selection, I really picked a treasure, and I was not disappointed. After arriving early, the room was not cleaned yet. The staff brought us welcome desserts. Next to it was the hotel cafe. By the way, I ordered two cups of coffee, and the hotel coffee coupons were equivalent to 50% off. After visiting the ancient city in the afternoon, the hotel provided an afternoon tea. After a short rest, we went out for dinner and came back. The hotel provided Tremella soup + milk, as well as various toiletries for children. The things provided were considerate and thoughtful: sunscreen, bandages, sunglasses, power banks, eye masks, hanging ear coffee, snacks, fruits... Breakfast was a buffet breakfast with cross-bridge rice noodles, which was very exquisite. The hotel is a typical quadrangle with a beautiful environment. You can see the pictures for details. The hotel also has its own dedicated parking lot (cheap hotels make parking lots better) and it is convenient to drive by car. I will come again next time. It is definitely the ceiling of B&B, impeccable. The courtyard is simple and elegant, and the rooms are high-end! The facilities are comparable to five-star hotels. You must choose it when you go to Shaxi! Choose it!

I went to Lijiang, Dali and Shaxi. Among all the hotels I stayed in, Cogondi is the one I would choose again. The environment is beautiful, the facilities are complete, and the service is particularly good. Because I caught a cold here, the lady in the hotel brought us medicine. The service from check-in to check-out was very thoughtful. I regretted not staying one more night. Thank you to the front desk and the staff who helped with the luggage

It was a very pleasant trip. The facilities in the room were very good, with a full set of Hansgrohe bathrooms, Bulgari toiletries, and Dyson hair dryers. The B&B was built on the original Ouyang Mansion. The gate is still the same as before, which is very historical. The breakfast is also very rich. In addition to the buffet, there is also cross-bridge rice noodles, which is very warm in the morning.

Cotegón was the most surprising part of this May Day trip. I originally chose a boutique homestay to ensure that I could feel close to the locals and have a more comfortable environment. The overall experience was beyond my expectations. It is not like many popular homestays that are good-looking but not practical. The details greatly enhance the user experience. For example, there is a Dyson humidifier in the room (very useful for dry Yunnan), a TV (it is very convenient to watch things with Huawei membership, and the angle is very suitable for lying on the bed), a luggage pick-up service (it is great not to drag the luggage on the cobblestone road!), a built-in LED makeup mirror in the room (girls who have put on makeup in the hotel know how important this is), a very comfortable mattress + pillow, and floor heating throughout the house (I didn’t expect it to be a little cold in May, and the constant temperature is so comfortable!) I won’t say much about the spare parts and borrowed items that everyone mentioned. In short, it is detail-oriented and practical everywhere. Compared with the hotel we stayed in in the second half of the trip, which was more beautiful than comfortable, it was great! All the waiters were enthusiastic and considerate, and I liked it very much!

I hurriedly chose to stay in the Cogondi Cultural Inn, which was newly opened in October 23, in Shaxi Ancient Town, and is convenient for travel. The two-story courtyard, Chinese courtyard, antique, thoughtful and distinctive design, quiet and comfortable. We stayed in the Wulai on the first floor, where we can bask in the sun, read books, watch fish swim in the yard... Daze... The hotel is very new, and the supporting facilities inside are very high-tech. The room has floor heating, the humidifier and hair dryer are Dyson, Evian mineral water, snacks, fruit, cola and coconut juice at the bar... There are fruits, afternoon tea, and bedtime desserts at night. The breakfast is very rich, the hotel coffee is super delicious, the latte art is so beautiful that I can't bear to drink it, and the tea room on the second floor is also very good. The hotel provides experience coupons for drinking tea and coffee. It was my sister's birthday when I traveled, and the hotel prepared beautiful cakes and greeting cards, which was so thoughtful! I experienced the Jiama culture. The hotel's sister service was great and responsive! This trip was originally a fluster, but after arriving, it was warm and calm. It felt like home, and it's worth writing such a long and sincere review. I'm a lazy person and don't like reviews! Because I met a lot of lovely people, lovely Pingping, lovely cameraman Chongqing Big Brother, lovely Grandma Arui, lovely puffs and cotton, coal balls... Shaxi is worth my return.

It should be considered a relatively high-end homestay in Shaxi. The service is very good. There are waiters who go to the parking lot to help us with our luggage. There is afternoon tea every day and goodnight desserts. The breakfast tastes good, but the catkins in March are not friendly to people with allergies. I will avoid this time in the future and come to Cogondi again!

The hotel has very good service and environment. Because it is a family trip, I have high requirements for the hotel. After checking in, the hotel upgraded me to a parent-child king-size bed room for free, which made our stay more comfortable. The equipment in the room is very new and complete, and a little yellow duck washing and care set is prepared for the baby, which is very considerate. The location is also very convenient. It is in the ancient town and is close to various places. What I remember most is their butler service. Due to my acute gastroenteritis, the hotel arranged for someone to take me to the nearby health center for emergency injections and drips at 1 a.m., and accompanied me throughout the whole process. I am very grateful to meet such a warm you in a foreign land. I will come here again in the future, strongly recommended.
