I had a fantastic stay at Yingju Inn. The hotel is located in the most central place of Shaxi village.
But more importantly, the manager was very helpful and professional. She speaks perfectly English and was able to help me for many things. She indicated me all the sights to visit in the area, and she booked my bus for me. It worth to be noticed, because after almost one month in China, it was the first time that I had a hotel with an English-speaking staff.

What a beautiful place to stay in probably the best kept ancient town in China. Nice clean rooms with a Chinese / Moroccan style courtyard. The owners are really friendly and helpful and even invited us to a family party. The location is nice and peaceful and not far from the main square. We will definitely be visiting again.

Very nice, little stylish hotel in perfect location. We weren't able to find it with the GPS, but the friendly host picked us up from the parking lot. We received an free upgrade and the room spacious, clean and comfortable. Very cozy and friendly environment. The village hasn't yet been flooded by tourist, so it still very quite and relaxed.
We really enjoyed our stay.

The managers are very nice, the lady speaks English very well and spends a lot of time helping us plan our visit, gives us GPS data for the starting and ending points of the treks, gives us the best places to eat, organizes the reservation of cars for travel.

The rooms are pleasant, clean, with heated beds and added heating in the room (on request).
