This is the most comfortable B&B I have ever stayed in during my trip to Dali, Yunnan. It is clean and hygienic, with complete hardware facilities. It is no exaggeration to say that it is a paradise. The owner is warm and welcoming. It is suitable for lazily drinking coffee☕️, basking in the sun, and watching Reading... In Shaxi Ancient Town, the transportation is convenient and goes directly to the hotel entrance. Tourists passing by this entrance can't help but take two pictures😍😍😍

A delightful inn with a beautiful courtyard full of blooms, greens and some fishes. The 4 of us were lucky to be there in April being the flowering season. Cosy outdoor areas to enjoy the environment and weather and snacks. Lovely mountain views from the top gazebo. Great location in a quiet area with comfy room and amenities [heated toilet seat too]. Friendly and courteous staff. Warm milk for the night too. Highly recommend this place. Short walk to the ancient town to Yujin Bridge, shops, eating places, canola fields and lotus ponds. Flowers blooming everywhere -- delights the heart!

quaint guest house that is run by a retired HK couple, they provided the warmest welcome during our entire trip, and we felt so at home! we spend quite a while chatting with Ms May and her husband and enjoyed the exchange. facilities are homely and basic, with a lovely garden and a kids play area. total of 8 rooms. shaxi ancient town is such a gem, quaint, quiet and is a place where you can really slow down your pace to appreciate what yunnan china is like. spend your time wandering around shaxi ancient town, it’s small (1 hour exploration) but definitely take the time to sit with a cup of coffee or a book. take the yellow taxi (electric buggy) to explore the various smaller towns that surround shaxi. there are appx 7 smaller towns, each with its own charm… we only had time to explore beilongchun, where the pace of life is slow, quiet and healing. the higher you hike, the views are very different! some places to check out: - shaxi avant garde book shop u - universal bakery (alien mascot bakery that sells sourdough, hard crust bread) - bailong tan (small lake) - 山风院子 which has a tree house and a mini cafe - shaxi tea horse museum - old stone bridge, in the afternoon an elderly couple would be there with their goats and you can buy goat milk or take photos. - shaxi friday market!!!

I read the reviews on Ctrip and booked Yiduoyun B&B in Shaxi Ancient Town. It is really a very good B&B. There are everything in the room, water, coffee and drinks are all very good brands, and the bathroom body milk and facial cleanser Mask, cleansing oil, disposable face towels, sanitary wipes, etc. There are everything, and the boss is very tasteful. The kitchen is very clean and well-equipped. The whole homestay is very warm, just like being at home. When we went out to play, we also visited several homestays, none of which could compare with his home. We have lived here for four days, and Shaxi is suitable for this kind of slow-paced life. The B&B is right at the entrance of the village, and the parking is very convenient. It is very suitable for self-driving tours. There is a large field with the window open, and it is not far from the town center. We originally booked 2 nights and really liked it so we stayed 5 more nights. Next time I come to Shaxi, I will choose to live in Biewan, Xishui.

I love it so much. The environment is great, the location is excellent, and it is quiet in a busy city! The housekeeper is very considerate. On the day we left, he knew that we would leave early the next day and would not be able to catch up with breakfast, so he specially prepared bread and milk for us to take with us! Very considerate! The bed is comfortable and moderately hard and soft, the room is clean and tidy, and it is so comfortable to sit in the yard and drink a pot of Pu'er! I really love this small courtyard! Full marks! I will choose Yishu again if I have the opportunity to come in the future! In addition, don't miss Yishu breakfast. The rice noodles made by the ladies are better than those outside 😋!

This little gem is 5 min walk away from the old city, along the river. You can reach the famous bridge following the river, a nice stroll away from the crowd. The rooms are truly beautiful and the overall atmosphere is peaceful, even with kids around. It’s well decorated and very high quality furniture and bedding. We arrived earlier than the check-in time but they welcomed us with tea, fruits and snacks. They provide also a « shuttle » to go to the old town and pick you up anywhere in the old town maximum 20min after sending a message. The Chinese breakfast was different everyday and delicious. One day we left early and they gave us some part of the breakfast to go. We wanted to ride bicycles and they sent us a contact and location to get them. Same for a driver to go to the mountain. They are all the kindest people. We really recommend this place.

在看的別猶豫了就定這家！ 民宿就在古鎮裏面，去哪都很方便。 房間設計古樸温馨，床墊也很舒服。淋浴間和廁所是分開的，科學衞生，洗澡熱水出的也很快。總體居住體驗非常好～ 最重要的是老闆很可愛，人也超好，即使這兩天身體不舒服也是疲憊甜妹💕老闆釀的青梅酒很絕，煮的熱紅酒和好喝，簡直是酒神降臨！有機會一定要嘗試一下～ 豆漿（老闆的貓貓）使用指南： 屁股在睡覺的時候可以隨便摸，醒的時候摸會反擊（但是手感真的很好） 醒的時候推薦部位是下巴、嘴角和額頭🫰🏻 金多多（鄰居小金邊）使用指南： 隨便摸🫰🏻 這次走的時候下雨了，拍的照片陰陰的有點遺憾，但是也是一種幸運因為見到了不同天氣下的沙溪，都很美，很喜歡，下次還來！

To start with, Shaxi is such a precious jewel. The historic preservation collaboration between ETH and Chinese scholars and the locals is impressive. The harmony formed by the nature and the man-made environment is incredible. We wish we had more time to stay and dive deeper. And we absolutely loved our stay at the Flower Inn. It’s really close to the core of the town yet very quiet and peaceful. The garden is meticulously cared for. The most special is an impressive 2-story library housing the owners’ personal book collections. They recently opened the library to the community a few days a week - a generous way to share knowledge and wisdom, and bring the community closer together. The owners are very warm, interested in making friends and sharing their experience. I really enjoyed an evening chat with them and listening to the stories about the town’s history, preservation, local lifestyles and much more. We would love to come back to Shaxi in the future and stay at the Flower Inn again.
