This homestay is really ”good wind”. The landlord and his family are warm and hospitable, the service is meticulous and thoughtful, and they also prepare fruit milk for guests from afar and can order breakfast. The bed in the room was super comfortable. I had two pillows high and low. I slept very well in both nights and was more comfortable than a five-star hotel. The room is also equipped with a humidifier, a bath heater, and a smart mirror. The layout on the second floor is equipped with a leisure area with mountain views, and the view is very good! The next day I lived, I saw a rainbow. The two terraces can be viewed and dried. A large yard can park several cars for self-driving tourists. It is very convenient to go out for 2 minutes to the north gate of the ancient town. I really feel at home in my heart.

quaint guest house that is run by a retired HK couple, they provided the warmest welcome during our entire trip, and we felt so at home! we spend quite a while chatting with Ms May and her husband and enjoyed the exchange. facilities are homely and basic, with a lovely garden and a kids play area. total of 8 rooms. shaxi ancient town is such a gem, quaint, quiet and is a place where you can really slow down your pace to appreciate what yunnan china is like. spend your time wandering around shaxi ancient town, it’s small (1 hour exploration) but definitely take the time to sit with a cup of coffee or a book. take the yellow taxi (electric buggy) to explore the various smaller towns that surround shaxi. there are appx 7 smaller towns, each with its own charm… we only had time to explore beilongchun, where the pace of life is slow, quiet and healing. the higher you hike, the views are very different! some places to check out: - shaxi avant garde book shop u - universal bakery (alien mascot bakery that sells sourdough, hard crust bread) - bailong tan (small lake) - 山风院子 which has a tree house and a mini cafe - shaxi tea horse museum - old stone bridge, in the afternoon an elderly couple would be there with their goats and you can buy goat milk or take photos. - shaxi friday market!!!

The boss was very nice. He took the initiative to pick us up outside and take us to the parking lot. He then helped us take our luggage to the inn and also helped deliver it out when we left. This saved the girls a lot of effort. The room is large and beautiful, with a 270-degree view of the mountains. The location is not far from the entrance to the ancient town, which is very convenient.

A delightful inn with a beautiful courtyard full of blooms, greens and some fishes. The 4 of us were lucky to be there in April being the flowering season. Cosy outdoor areas to enjoy the environment and weather and snacks. Lovely mountain views from the top gazebo. Great location in a quiet area with comfy room and amenities [heated toilet seat too]. Friendly and courteous staff. Warm milk for the night too. Highly recommend this place. Short walk to the ancient town to Yujin Bridge, shops, eating places, canola fields and lotus ponds. Flowers blooming everywhere -- delights the heart!

The boss was very welcoming. It was inconvenient to push luggage in the ancient town, so he took the initiative to help us arrange people to carry the luggage. The breakfast was also very good. It was so comfortable to sit in the yard and drink and chat in the evening. What's more, there were red wine glasses provided, hehe!

By car, you can park your car in the parking lot of Lanlinge Hotel, and it only takes five minutes to walk there. Opposite the small courtyard is the big old tree where Ah Nai sells things. It is very close to Sideng Street and the ancient stage. There are three set meals to choose from for breakfast. After staying for two days, I tasted the bait set set and the Western set set. The taste and presentation were very attentive. The overall environment and supplies are good, and it's very comfortable to stay.

Not facing people coming and going every day in the ancient town, the distance is not far. The distance is about three kilometers, and the ancient town is only a few minutes away by car. The rooms are also large and decorated in style. Very comfortable and relaxing. The homestay can go up the mountain for a morning jog➕walking➕climbing the mountain, watching the misty beauty of the distant mountains in the morning, it’s beautiful! The ”entertainment room” is also filled with all kinds of gadgets collected by the boss himself, which is very exquisite and stylish. What impressed me the most was the ”lady proprietress” of the homestay. She is a girl from Chongqing, very enthusiastic and straightforward. For the small team that came to Shaxi for the first time, the proprietress also helped contact a lot of resources. The proprietress should have studied design. From the decoration and collection, it can be seen that the taste is really good. Many collections are planted for the ladies and sisters in the same industry. What's even more amazing is that the proprietress also runs a small restaurant in the ancient town. The location and environment of the cafe are very good, and the names of the products are very interesting.
