This is my second time staying at your hotel. The scorching summer is the best time to go to Jiande where the temperature is 17°C for a summer vacation. The booked room is right next to the river, and you can see the clear Xin'an River flowing slowly from the room. Sitting in the room and drinking tea, you can watch the beautiful mountains and clear waters, the rolling clouds and the relaxing clouds, which is very pleasant. The room design is full of Jiangnan charm, spacious and bright. The service in the hotel is very pleasant. Fresh fruits are delivered every day. The waiters are always smiling when I see them. Especially the sister He Yuanyuan at the front desk is warm and kind. The service is attentive and meticulous. It makes me feel like I am at home. The hotel is in a good location, and it is also very convenient to go to the riverside to enjoy the cool weather. There are many delicious little restaurants nearby. The new hotel opened last year, because it is close to the Xin'an River, the river view rooms can directly overlook the Xin'an River, which is considered a bright spot. The service is also amazing. GGuest UserThis is a great place to retreat to if you want a bit of seclusion from the outside world. You need to arrange with the hotel to take a boat inside. Once inside you are greeted with a picturesque view of the hills nestling around the FuChun River that drains into Qianjiang in Hangzhou. The food is exquisitely simple and local. The chef is definitely a five star chef. You can take walks, hikes and bike rides. There’s a lot to do but if you just want to chill out, the tranquil landscape offers plenty of that. 毛毛 was particularly helpful in settling us in. We are very grateful to 毛毛 for such a smooth stay. You can communicate all your needs to this delightful girl and she will be on hand to help at the hotel.

The butler asked carefully and carefully what time to get to the hotel and turned on the air conditioner in advance. We booked 3 rooms. MMattStray Clouds Villa is a fantastic place to stay in Jiande, especially for those looking to take a break from city life and enjoy some time in the countryside. The owner of the hotel lives in Singapore, but handles registration for foreigners remotely. The three women who work at the hotel are lovely and make sure that each guest is treated with the same generous hospitality. My only suggestion for foreign passport holders looking to stay here is to establish contact with the owner in advance by adding his WeChat (same as the hotel's phone number) to share documents required for registration at the local police station including passport information page, current Chinese visa, most recent entry stamp, residential address in China, and phone number. This will decrease the time needed for check-in.
The hotel itself was spectacularly clean and the rooms were spacious. The hotel is just minutes away by foot from Tuanyun Pagoda (抟云塔) and Wenchang Pavilion (文昌阁), two of Xinye Ancient's Village (新叶古村) most recognizable landmarks. The nearest bullet train station in Lanxi, Jinhua is currently closed, so it's best to take a bullet train into Jiande Station (建德站) followed by a 70-90 minute Didi directly to the hotel.

SSiying12345Let’s write a small travel note. It is located on the bank of Xin'an River, and the geographical position is very superior. I have visited Nantong, Shanghai and Hangzhou these days. Tired of the hustle and bustle of the city, I was lucky to find this hotel. It takes about 1 hour from Hangzhou East Railway Station by high-speed rail or high-speed train. Jiande Station is not big, but there are not many tourists, so it is not crowded at all. The taxi boarding point is just across the road from the station. Of course, you can also book a taxi online. You can check in at 2pm, the service from the butler lady is so good, praise, praise, praise! He took the initiative to introduce me to the hotel's design, location, layout and facilities, and also upgraded my room for free. There is a Japanese restaurant in the hotel, the dishes are not too many, but the taste is good. Here I recommend the seafood matsutake soup, which is delicious. You can order food in advance in the butler group chat, and just eat it directly when you arrive. If the weather is okay; if you still have energy after dinner, you can take a stroll nearby. Walking along Xin'an Road, the air in rainy days is exceptionally fresh. The surface of the river was foggy, and the mountains on the opposite bank could not be seen clearly.
