This Atour hotel is open in 2022. Therefore, the hotel facilities are brand new and relatively high-end, such as smart toilets, 75-inch TVs, electric curtains, mobile phone wireless charging, robot services, etc. In addition, the hotel's services are also in place. We booked two rooms for a group of four, one twin standard room and one queen room. (There was a twin bed when Trip.com booked) When we arrived at the hotel, we learned that the two rooms were not on the same floor. Positives - The room assigned to me on the 2nd floor is big with a double bed that could be a little hard but that is normal for beds in China. There is a huge bath tub and toilet which looks like the Japanese toilet but the bidet function is not working and the flushing function is working. There are the usual amenities such as disposable towels in plastic and slippers. There is a balcony overlooking the river with a table and 4 chairs for guests to seat together. It is a very good location facing the famed covered tiled roof street and many eateries around. I checked that the prices sold are reasonable when compared to same items sold in Shanghai.
Area for improvement. The location of the inn is quite difficult for me to find as there is no map to indicate where it is and there is no English signage to show the direction. I have to ask around and I managed to figure out the street name in English. I wish there is a drop-off location mentioned for the taxi drivers to follow. The owners cannot speak English at all and I rely on Google translate to converse with them.

GGuest UserWhen traveling to Xitang, I saw the clean and atmospheric pictures and placed an order immediately! , I didn’t find the place when I first arrived. The boss was very enthusiastic about picking up and dropping off the whole trip and also introduced the scenic spots in the ancient town. I was very surprised that it was very close to the ancient town and it only took 3 minutes to walk to the ticket gate. The lobby is full of green plants. The rooms are clean and tidy. Needless to say, the service is very enthusiastic. It is really a very pleasant stay and trip. I will stay here again next time I come to Xitang. Highly recommended❤️

MMichael ZargarovThis is a marvelous homestay-guesthouse. Located in a quiet area of the old-town, but very close to many bars and restaurants. Next door to a temple.
The owner is a friendly man who loves cats... and has three lazy, fat cats who sleep most of the time. He even gave us chilled bottles of Perrier French mineral water upon our arrival! The courtyard has two Loquat trees which provided many delicious fruits.
Our room was upstairs in this renovated old Qing-Dynasty house. We had a small private balcony. The bed was very comfortable, with great bolster pillows for watching movies on the huge screen. There was a refrigerator in the room. The bathroom was huge and even included a Japanese toilet with bidet functions. Soft towels. Good toiletries.
The included breakfasts, served in the courtyard, were wonderful. Fried bread, two-kinds of dumplings, soy milk, boiled eggs. Delicious coffee. Watermelon slices.
Xitang is a beautiful, if a bit over-commercialized ”ancient” town. We enjoyed our visit, and this lovely guest-house. The guesthouse is a bit hard to locate. It is in the Eastern part of the old town, near the bar street. For those who enjoy Hanfu, there are MANY shops nearby where you can rent the costumes.

GGuest UserA very good experience. My wife and I arrived at the hotel in the afternoon. When we drove into the underground garage, the security guard was already waiting for us at the parking lot. He helped us get our luggage and guided us to the front desk of the hotel. When we arrived at the front desk, every hotel staff member was smiling. While we were checking in, the hotel housekeeper, Ms. Gu Jialan, added WeChat to introduce all the hotel facilities and help us book dinner. There was a comfortable smile throughout the entire process! After checking in, the receptionist at the front desk helped us with our luggage and introduced the details of the hotel along the way. After checking into the room, we took a short rest and contacted the butler to help us book the SPA. A 90-minute hotel feature - Himalayan rock salt therapy, my wife and I felt great. Super cool and very comfortable. At the beginning of dinner, the service staff in the hotel restaurant were all smiling and the dishes were very good.
At present, domestic hotels, as far as all the hotels we have stayed in, the hotel hardware is impeccable, in terms of service, I think it should also be the ceiling. Seven of us booked 4 rooms on the second floor. There is a terrace where we can bask in the sun and drink tea. , very good, the meat rice dumplings and pickled pork noodles for breakfast are delicious.
