It’s not that you can’t afford to live in the ancient city, it’s that Yuyu is more cost-effective. I'm always willing to book new hotels when I go out, but I'm afraid of the smell, but this one really didn't disappoint me. With big brand management, quality is still guaranteed. When checking in, the girl at the front desk had a sincere smile. Since the check-in was delayed for about ten minutes, she took the initiative to apologize and offered an upgraded room type. It was really great👍🏻. The design of the hotel lobby is novel. When I asked, the hotel seemed to be designed by the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Everything is exquisite, not to mention hygienic. The disposable water cups used for drinking water are all wrapped in bags. I have to say about the breakfast. Although there are not many types of dishes, it is clean and hygienic. There are also local Chaoshan noodle soups. It would be better if the variety of dishes can be improved in the future. Next time I bring my family to Chaozhou, I will choose Yuyu.

Coming to Chaozhou for the first time to check out the suitability for family travel. The hotel’s service is superb and the team always makes you feel welcome, from arrival to departure. They make sure they are connected with you on WeChat or mobile, so that you can contact them whenever and wherever (which is good for introverts who prefer not to speak face to face). The location is just directly opposite West Lake (西湖), and in the morning there is a small fruit market outside.
It is walkable to 西马路，牌坊街，开元寺，广济桥 around 15-20min walk, but of course, you can take Didi or one of the trishaws outside the hotel.
Even though it is not luxurious, what I love about this hotel is that I can leave without dirty clothes, because they offer dry cleaning services for unlimited pieces of clothing, once per day (till 22:00).

The room is very satisfactory. The sanitary facilities and soundproofing services are very good. The bed is moderately soft and hard. The two-meter bed is very comfortable, especially the pillow. I forgot to check whether it is latex, but I think it is latex. It is very, very comfortable, much better than the general four-star hotel. The room is spacious and clean. The check-in experience was very good. The front desk was very helpful and considerate. The weather has turned cold recently and they even brought us girls brown sugar ginger tea to warm us up! There are also many places to eat and delicious dishes around the hotel ~ The hotel is about two kilometers away from the ancient city. Because the public transportation in Chaozhou is not very developed, it is recommended to use a shared electric car or take a taxi to travel. You can also walk along Xinqiao Road to the ancient city. There are many places to eat on the roadside, so it is recommended to walk there. Later, because the bed and bath were comfortable enough, and I wanted to eat local white porridge snacks, I stayed one more night. You can go to the Fengchun white porridge to try it, it’s delicious! By the way, the buffet breakfast provided by the hotel is simple but not simple, so get up early and eat it. Overall, it was a relatively satisfying trip.

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is very good. It is a 10-minute walk from Jinxian Gate. It is very convenient to go to the ancient city on foot. There are McDonald's, Pizza Hut and Luckin Coffee downstairs. This time I stayed in a deluxe twin room. The room was of medium size, with three separate bathrooms. The mattress was very elastic and comfortable. The floor was high. Although it faced the street, it was not noisy at all. You could see fireworks in the distance on the night of the fifth day of the ***** New Year. Breakfast is great, especially the beef brisket noodles are very delicious! The ladies at the front desk and the room attendants and cleaners are very polite and greet everyone when they meet. The only drawback is that the water in the bathroom is not smooth. The power of the hair dryer is 1200w, and the wind is too small to be useful. Overall it's good, recommended!

SSe YungWe are a group of 16 families booked into this hotel. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. A welcome drink, Chinese tea, and Lo Hon Goa were provided to all guests at the lobby daily; we enjoyed the drink after a long day of traveling in Jiexi.
Free laundry and dryer facilities were provided. I have traveled to many countries, and this is the first time I have experienced a hotel offering free self-service laundry. What I mean was, no coins required to use the washing machine. They were free to use.
Good buffet breakfasts were provided. The three-person room had ample space.
There was a blocked toilet issue, and they fixed it straight away.
Highly recommended to everyone.

GGuest UserTo be honest, the location, environment and services of this hotel are great! Really good! But the room didn’t give me a particularly good experience! After all, it is an old hotel. Regardless of the equipment or decoration style, I really think this decoration needs to be changed! Facing the bed is the TV, and there are two large mirrors on both sides of the TV (I didn’t take any pictures)! Although it is not directly facing the bed, you can clearly see what is reflected in the two mirrors while lying on the bed! The second is the photo I took. The two big chairs look particularly weird for some reason, especially after the lights are turned off! (This was taken during the day) I’m not superstitious. You still have to follow some taboos when staying in a hotel! Stayed for 3 nights! Maybe you will say why do you still need to stay for 3 nights if it is so scary? Because I have a habit of staying in hotels. I may not like it on the first day, but it will be fine on the second day! But this hotel is getting scarier every day! Finally, on the third night, I was so scared that I couldn't sleep. I stayed up all night and made phone calls with my friends! Don’t we all want to stay in a hotel to feel warm? It’s really a nightmare to go back to sleep every night! If there are no taboos or friends who don’t believe this, you can ignore what I say! The scenery along the river is pretty good!
