Good hotel.

The decoration is quite old-fashioned, and it is a relatively old hotel. The breakfast is OK, with both Chinese and Western styles. The location is good, and it is convenient to go to the station and other places. There are also many shops along the street downstairs, which is good for simple shopping. The service is quite polarized. I contacted two female front desk staff successively. The young one was enthusiastic and patient, which is worthy of encouragement. The old one with short hair was indifferent, which greatly reduced the stay experience.

I booked this hotel through the official website of Ctrip (the Ctrip platform is very convenient and the service is also very good). Judging from the qualifications of the hotel and the facilities and scale marked, I think it should be one of the top 5 or even top 3 hotels in Jilin City, and the hotel has non-smoking floors and non-smoking rooms. Unfortunately, the room I stayed in smelled of smoke (the staff said that it had been smoke-free), and the air conditioner stopped cooling in the middle of the night. The most frustrating thing was that the public places such as the gym for exercise had a stronger smell of smoke (including the corridor on the 3rd floor where the gym was located). The working attitude and quality of the front desk staff were very good; 4- and 5-star hotels allow smoking in rooms on non-smoking floors and public fitness areas. This was the worst experience of this stay and it was very regrettable.

Booked for the Jilin Marathon. The hotel is almost full of guests who come to run the marathon. In order to accommodate the guests who run the marathon, the hotel advances the breakfast time to 5:30 in the morning. The breakfast is very good, with many local specialties. And even if the two mattresses are stacked together, they should be wrapped up to look good! ! It feels like living in a warehouse when they are directly exposed! ! After negotiating with the front desk staff, I upgraded the room. The bed in the new room has a much more stable bed base, which is more comfortable to live in. I left early the next day for something, and the check-out was also very quick. The problems were handled very quickly and efficiently. There was no other dissatisfaction except this episode. It would be better if they were more enthusiastic.
