It’s a beautiful hotel with a very big compound, right in the middle of nature, you can see the forest and mountains outside. Rooms are good sized and very clean. There is however not much around the hotel vicinity.

The hotel is in a scenic and quiet location. Rooms are clean. Services are great. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Hotel provides a hot bath in next bldg which is made up of several pools of different temperature. Ideal for winding down after a mountainous day. Restaurant options are limited, location is a little secluded compared to Hilton. Toilet flushes problematic need to improve. However stay is peaceful, room is spacious with a little balcony for laundry. Overall stay is acceptable and good for the price paid.

Didn’t really feel like a five star experience. The lobby was hot and loud. No tea pot in the room. Cigarette ash all over the hotel & the room. Bed was nice. The spa isn’t a spa it’s a series of lukewarm swimming pools full of children. The food was good. Ground staff were friendly and accommodating. The squirrels & chipmunks deserve better!

Have stayed few different place's Intercontinental, this one is by far the most special one and impressive. Heard room rate in peak time soars, luckily for my visit this time is very reasonable. But I think it worth the price.

Great hotel , large clean and very nice room. Good breakfast and also a large hot spring. Dinner with some performances and super hospitable staff.

Amazing hotel hidden between the hills right over the ridge of the Jiuzhaigou colorful lakes valley. Hotel appears to be fully recovered from the earthquake that hit the region in 2017. We were super lucky to finally visit the Jiuzhaigou park and stay at Intercontinental was a cherry on top of the pie. Hotel kindly gave us a complimentary entry to their fantastic hot springs - which was really wonderful to relax after 36 km hiking across the Jiuzhaigou park.
Breakfast, as per intercontinental standard was great. Although due to golden week some most popular stations (waffles) required few minutes queue.
Hotel was full but we still happened to be given a parking spot in the underground garage.
All in all - fantastic stay.

The hotel is located in Ganhaizi outside the Jiuzhaigou scenic area. This hotel is large in scale. It occupies a mountain top. Behind it are towering snow-capped mountains.
The design is very unique. I was introduced to it by a friend many years ago. So this trip to Jiuzhaigou. I must choose here. The room has been renovated. It is well maintained. It is very clean and elegant inside.
There are nearly 900 rooms in total. There are six restaurants. The main ones open now are a Sichuan restaurant and a ******* yak hot pot.
The hotel is about an hour away from the high-speed rail station. It is about half an hour away from the Jiuzhaigou scenic area.
If you have enough time to visit Jiuzhaigou, it is recommended to stay for more than two days.
