A hotel with an old-fashioned aristocratic fan, the hotel environment is quiet, the service staff is warm and courteous, the room facilities are a bit old-fashioned, foreign tourists are mostly not from India. Breakfast can be ordered a la carte, overall I feel the hotel location is a bit biased, fortunately, taxi is convenient.

The hotel is located on the west side of the airport, some distance from the old city and the new city, but it is very convenient to call a car.
Just opened for 5 years, the facilities are very new. The small suite I stayed in was less than 700 including breakfast, which was very affordable. Cleanliness is good and the bed is comfortable. The lighting is good, and the Internet speed is fast for Indian hotels. Sound insulation is acceptable. The air conditioner is powerful, and the living room and bedroom are controlled separately. Put 6 bottles of drinking water directly in the room, no need to ask the front desk.
What needs to be improved is: the small suite does not have a bathtub. The breakfast is vegan, not even eggs. Although the meals are good and there are ***y choices, I still feel uncomfortable.
The service attitude is very good. In addition, the lobby bar is very affordable. A large piece of cake only costs 120 rupees, which is cheaper than outside cake shops.

I arrived at this beautiful Haveli and could not believe how big and adorned with art and antique this place is. The staff are very kind, friendly and attentive. I was very lucky to meet the owner, his wife and family at dinner and she was so kind to offer me some home made pickles. The food was delicious and the desert was something I have never had the opportunity to try but it was the best sweet and it’s called RajBhog. It is made of milk and it looks like a ball with saffron inside. Come and visit this hospitable haveli, you will not be disappointed.

The stay was lovely. The hotel and its services are truly amazing. The rooms were in good condition and the food was excellent. However, their restaurant service is quite slow. The staff was polite and welcoming. Located in the center of the city, it was one of the best options.

This is the second time I have enjoyed staying at Jee Ri Haveli. Hi***shu and his family were lovely hosts. The Haveli is outside of the old town but the views of the fort from the rooms and rooftop restaurant are spectacular. You are within easy walking distance of everything including the excellent Sardar Market. The rooms are comfortable but not ***y luxuries but this doesn't matter as the beds are comfortable and hot water in the shower!! The food in the restaurant is excellent as well accompanied by the aforementioned view - see photo . They can arrange cars etc for arrival and departure if needed. Hi***shu took us on a wonderful walk through the old town - the blue city- and took us to visit the Jaswant Thada mausoleum and the superb Mehrangarh Fort. We really enjoyed this as he took us to places we never would have discovered on our own , we saw some wonderful murals and we ate the most delicious local sweets and found out the next day we made the local paper! Highly recommended and I would very happily stay here again.

I had booked the historical suite for three nights at the Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace at Jodhpur from the 10th till the 13th of November for myself and my mother. The hotel is out-of-this world. It is a real palace and a part of it also serves as the formal residence of the king of Jodhpur. At 26 acres, it is the largest hotel in the world. On arrival, we had a one-of-a-kind royal welcoming ceremony at the entrance to the palace followed by a beautiful song by a group of folk artists. A bottle of champagne was popped open to celebrate our arrival. I have never experienced such a lavish welcome in any other hotel. We were told that our room had been upgraded to the royal suite without even having asked the staff to do so. The staff were extremely courteous and treated us like royalty. We were addressed as ‘Hukum’ by the staff at the hotel. The room was spectacular. There was a beautiful portrait of a peacock behind the bed. There were also sketches of the former maharajas in the room. The room also came with a day room, a massive attached bathroom with separate washing basins for two and there was a terrace overlooking the magnificent gardens of the hotel. Needless to say, the view from the hotel is breathtaking. There was plenty to explore just at this property. We took a complimentary tour of the palace ***** with a tour of the vintage cars as well both of which I highly recommend. If you are reading this review and our deciding whether this place is worth it or not then in my experience it has been worth every penny and then some and I am glad that I visited it. The best time to visit it is from November to February when the weather is fabulous and you can enjoy roaming around the city. I want to thank the following members of the hotel staff who made our stay memorable: 1. Karan Singh (Pillars Restaurant) 2. Aman Singh Gaur 3. Vikram (Front Desk) 4. Alka (Front Desk) 5. Sangram 6. Saadiq (Pillars Restaurant)

Hotel service is very good. I left the laptop in the hotel. I found the computer disappeared the next day in Udaipur. After two or three days, I contacted the hotel and found it. The hotel found a car to drive from Jodhpur to Udaipur. Give it to me (of course, the cost is our own and it is higher than the cost of finding a car outside, but still let the hotel find a solid, after all, is a valuable item), hand in hand to find the package is very good, the driver is also very responsible. Special thanks to the hotel's service staff. The location of the hotel is indeed too far from the city. Ola is about 260 rupees to the main scenic spot. We have a car at the time of the call, but it is so uncertain whether it is always a good car.

GGuest UserFound the report online and turned out to be super good. Location is a bit outside of the city, but public transportation is very convenient. The only complaint is the floor of the room, which was chilly as there is no floor tiles. Food was super tasty and the staff was very welcoming.
We enjoyed 2 nights at the guest house and from the moment we arrived the owner, Ranveer and his family, made us feel extremely welcome. The room was prepared at short notice for us which was really appreciated. The rooftop restuarant has stunning views across Jodhpur and we spent many a hour eating and drinking here whilst being tended to by the staff who were all very friendly. The food was delicious at both breakfast time and in the evening. Ranveer was able to help with organising our tuk tuk to/ from the guest house. Thank you so much Ranveer for your kindness you are a wonderful person.
The haveli is actually a homestay managed by a lovely couple. The property is lovely, very well kept and managed. It's located in the old city, so some amount of small dirty roads to traverse, but not too much. I cannot overstate the advantages of staying in the old city. Most attractions are within walking distance be it the ghanta ghar, mehenrangarh fort, main shopping area and loads of street food! So location is definitely a BIG plus! The rooms that we got were very very comfortable, simply decorated and modernized. My mum had leg pain due to arthritis and they were very kind to give us a room on the ground floor. However, they have their dining room on the 3rd floor, for which she had to climb. They did offer to deliver the food to her room, so that option exists too. Also, they are doing some renovations to include some more rooms and a lift facility. The food is simply delicious! Simple typical home cooked indian meals that are satisfying. We stayed here for 2 nights and we had absolutely no complaints. The view from their terrace is gorgeous!! Definitely recommend staying here.
Fantastic staff and location - two restaurants on site same menu but extensive and the food is excellent really no need to go else where- location is perfect in the heart of old town - read a bit about noise levels - found them not to be an issue - overall would visit again - special mention to the yoga and wellness staff absolutely fantastic had the best facial here - also the catering team who went above and beyond even providing us with sauces to take home and a pack lunch for the road trip to Udaipur
MMélanie&AnmolWe had a great experience at this hotel. The room was very large, very clean. No street noise at night.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Breakfast was very good and with plenty of choice (Indian, and some European choices). The garden was magnificent and perfectly maintained.
The coolest staff I ever had on a hostel! Everyone is so cool, friendly and helpful. They are not just staff, they become friends! Hostel full of activities you can join - tours, concerts, games, local celebrations... Rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. Amazing rooftop, always with something happening and the food from their restaurant is really, really good.
RrayobooneYou never quite know what you may be getting when you stay at a small, locally owned hotel. Sure, you can read reviews and look at pictures, but you never *really* know until you get there. I’ll get into the hotel itself in a moment, but the main benefit this place has going for it are its owners. They are kind and chatty, and aren’t just concerned about you having a good stay at their hotel, but a good stay in their city. They’re more than happy to sit and talk about where you should go, and are very interested in helping you understand the culture of the place you’re in. One of the owners said he’d come and sit with me at the restaurant on the roof while I ate, and he did. He even offered to go walking around one of the neighborhoods with me. I cannot emphasize how important this is. When you’re in a place like India for the first time, it’s absolutely vital that you have helpful people to lean on a bit. I don’t mean that in an “India is dangerous” kind of way, but in an “India can be completely confusing and difficult to comprehend” way. I would regularly come back with questions about things I saw while wandering, and not only were the owners willing to answer them, but they seemed genuinely excited by the opportunity to help me understand the culture of their city and their country. As for the hotel itself, it’s clean and comfortable. One thing you have to understand is that this is an old building, in the old part of the city — and those are GOOD things. Yes, there are more “western” style hotels in newer buildings in Jodhpur. There’s even one that’s under the Marriott umbrella. But if you want to stay at a Marriott, you can do that at home. And more importantly, those hotels are not in the old city, and that’s where you’re going to be spending your time. The Kings Retreat is right in the midst of it, and it was helpful to just be able to spend 15 minutes walking back to the room to take a shower or rest for a bit. As I said, this is an old building. It’s what’s called a “haveli” — typically an old mansion with a central courtyard you’ll find in many cities in India. So yes, there are some quirks like old doors or having to turn on a water heater and wait a few minutes before you take a shower. To me, this is all part of the experience. And the owners have done a great job with modernizing the building. I’m sure there’s a lot of regulations when it comes to making changes to a historic property, and I was a bit concerned at first when I walked into the room and found it hot — but let me tell you, that air conditioner is ice cold and blows like a tornado if you want it to. Yes, you’ll probably have to switch into a tuk-tuk with your luggage when you get close to the building, as the streets are quite narrow. I promise you, this is totally fine and normal. And yes, there’s no elevator, since this is an old building. But I was upstairs and it made no difference. There’s a guy there who’s very used to carrying bags up the steps.
GGuest UserThe rooms were very good...and food was delicious.. there was renovation work going on and so couldn't make use of their terrace seating..but the view from the terrace is beautiful... Their service is also really good.. but one thing I wish they could do to improve is to hire one or more servicemen...as one person was running around the entire time from kitchen to the restaurant and to the rooms to serve food and other essentials..he was a very sweet and calm person..and helped us out a lot!! We took the no view rooms and hence didn't have a view of the lake behind the hotel..but one can get the view from the open terrace anyway..this hotel is located close to shops and restaurants..next to it is the famous bakery 15 A.D. and opposite they have Baskin Robbins.. overall worth the money and a comfy stay...highly recommend..
Having stayed at over 14 Zostels across India, this has been one of the worst experiences in terms of service. The staff here are highly commercial, prioritizing upselling value-added services over genuine hospitality—this applies to both the reception and café teams. In particular, the receptionist with a moustache (whose name I can’t recall) clearly lacks the training required for the hospitality industry. A notable instance was when a guest requested a room change due to excessive noise from the first-floor rooms caused by the staff’s constant shouting. Instead of addressing the issue with courtesy or instructing the staff to be mindful, the receptionist dismissively replied, “Sound toh aega.” This lack of empathy and professionalism reflects poorly on the Zostel brand. Unfortunately, this has been my worst experience with Zostel staff and service to date. And before my stay at Zostel clock tower, I stayed at Zostel Ratanada and the staff behavior and support was top class
Very close to the airport. Great property. Green, clean locality. We were bothered by some airplane noise from what seemed like an airforce exercise but thankfully that lasted only a couple of hours on one day. Warm, polite, helpful staff. Souvik and Sonia at room service and the staff at Angithi took great care of our dietary needs. We enjoyed the food in the hotel. Spacious rooms, clean hotel, good housekeeping. We enjoyed the music, dance and puppetry shows in the evenings. Overall, a good stay near the airport. If you like to stay in the middle of the hustle and bustle of a city, this may not be the right place. This is a short cab ride away from all that :)
