For the price paid, the resort meets expectations but has notable pros and cons. Don't expect a luxurious and comfortable stay, as around 20% of the hotel's equipment and facilities are out of order, and the hotel seems to lack the means or resources to fix them. For example, in the bathroom near the Sports Centre, most of the fixtures are not working properly—faucets are broken, and some toilet doors cannot be closed.
The rest of the facilities are also subpar. There are lots of mosquitoes around, and the building's infrastructure is quite dusty with dried lizard droppings accumulated in places. The building seems to have seen better days, as the marble floor tiles and wooden adornments, although intact, are poorly maintained.
In the rooms, there is only one bathroom for the two-bedroom type. The toilet sewage has several issues. Firstly, there is a strong urine smell in the middle of the night. Secondly, the toilet doesn't flush properly, requiring us to call the housekeeping team to fix it. The kitchen facilities are also lacking, to the extent that I wouldn't consider it a kitchen. For instance, there is no cooker or hood, no kitchen utensils or cutlery, and not even a microwave.
Not all staff are properly trained, and some responses made guests feel unwelcome and dismissed.
However, the hotel has redeeming points: the amazing breakfast, the kind restaurant manager Kumar, and the good massage service.
