Shobi Hotel Johor Bahru Near CIQ JB Reviews

It is located in a quiet place. Nearby have 2, 3 coffee shops. Able to walk to the CIQ, it takes about 30 minutes to reach. Day time can walk, night time better take a transport.

The hotel is near to the JB sentral. The hotel look creepy, and in poor condition with no soundproof. The wallpaper also peeling already. We can still hear people walking on the hall, laughing and talking even after 1am. There is no hair dryer inside the room, need to ask from the receptionist. The room very small. We need to go to JB sentral early morning, that’s the only reason we stay in this hotel. Not recommended if you want comfortable stay. Still can find better hotel with the same price.

Second time staying at Shobi hotel here , close to jb sentral..

Overall, no complaints about cleanliness and service. But location a bit further away from ciq, that the reason why price is lower. Will stay again for the price only

This hotel room always not same room also,this time gaved me a small room like picture,the tv not sound but this okey only 1days,tomorrow im change.

I recommend this hotel. Walking distance to JB Sentral about 15 mins by walk. Internet connection is not good.

I ask for the hi floor. But the hotel didn't h Check it. Also no WiFi available..and the view is at the back ..n the reception said tat all the online is at the back or building view .like Indonesian women n

Boleh tahan but can be improved. Not sure if there is a guard or staff at premises after operating hours.

New year first hotel crowded in city center because of ***** new year

Overall it was good and clean.

They give us a dirty room without cleaning. Inside the room, there were dirty towels, used coffee cups, dirty bed with hairs, full trash bin, dirty toilet unflushed, and so on. You can imagine how bad the room was, would not recommend.

Can't be compliant more if paying this price. Location not very near CIQ

Pros: Bed is very comfortable, comes with headboard, alike 4-star hotel bed. Bedsheet is clean. Air-conditioner is working perfectly, super cool for this room size. Coway water dispenser machine is available at the lobby. Cons: Table in the room is not well-cleaned. Water heater not function properly but luckily still can generate warm water. Digital key card also not functioning, I have to use the key to lock door manually. Consider the price, not a bad stay though.
