It's our 5th time over here in our favourite hotel in Johor Bahru. We simply just lurve to do StayCation over here in Amari, Johor Bahru. Everything was okay and smooth except for the toilet flush which operates on a slow mode. We are definitely being patient on the usage as most of the time as we are always outside. Lurve and missing out the breakfast as it has been 3 months since our last stay over here. Both my mum and myself are definitely enjoying ourselves and we are looking forward to be back over here for our next StayCation in Johor Bahru once again. One of the really nice hotel around the area. Impressive environment, friendly staff , clean and comfy bed with good access to food and located at the central of city even. I had some stuff going on and ask for some room check out extension. The staff was even kind enough to gave me some tolerance and extension. Thanks so much again. Will definitely come again in the future.

The hotel was near the checkpoint so it was very convenient to travel into singapore. The room was very spacious but it would be nice if they provided a full length mirror. The front desk was very friendly and the area was bustling so there are many food options or you can also opt for delivery. Would definitely recommend!

I recently stayed at Hotel KSL in Johor Bahru and had a wonderful experience. The location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment at the attached mall. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that my stay was pleasant and hassle-free. The hotel also offers a variety of facilities, including a lovely pool and fitness center. Overall, Hotel KSL is an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers, offering great value for money. Highly recommended!

Love the people at the front desk, they are always so happy and friendly. Check-in took a bit longer than usual but the staff were very apologetic. I stayed in the Urban room at level 12 facing the highway and river. To my surprise it was rather quiet I can’t really hear the traffic. Morning breakfast at level 6 was pretty crowded. The next morning I just went down earlier and it was great. The girls at breakfast were always happy to welcome us… keep it up 👍

We just came back from a weekend birthday staycation. Our stay at Renaissance Hotel was a very comfortable one and the staff were extremely thoughtful to prepare a surprise setup in our room - complete with balloons, a printed birthday message with even little heart shapes, as well as a tasty slice of birthday cake and handwritten card! We were very touched by this gesture; thank you so much! Their breakfast buffet was also better than expected - great variety and good taste!

I will always stay in this hotel whenever travelling to Johore Bahru. The room rate is quite economical and no changes for the past few years. The room facility has improved even the room rate remain unchanged. i have discovered that the hotel room already been put a refrigerator and the bathroom also has a glass to segregate the shower area when I stay there recently. As for hotel exterior, they have installed a mini fountain to beautify the area. Overall, satisfy to stay at this hotel.

I really nice spacious room, we stayed in 307, which is a one-bed room apartment, please note there are smaller rooms. this is really good if you are staying for a few days, large living room with an induction cooker, toaster, microwave, and fridge. They also included plates and bowls. for cooking equipment and glassware, you will need to contact housekeeping, i stayed only 2 nights so i didn't bother. one big pet peeve was that the dish provided was too big for the microwave, so please heat up your food in the containers before plating them. Both the microwave and fridge worked well, it made ice in around 2 to 3 hours. the shower was great, with constant temperature and good water pressure. the bedroom lacked a TV only the TV was in the living room, so that was a bummer, the room was also a bit noisy as i think there is a family of birds living in the air-con compressor so if you are a light sleeper, you want to give this a miss. The road outside can also get noisy at all hours. The nightlife is interesting, with quite a few bars and restaurants, and lots of motorized scooter rental stores, this does have quite a big issue with me, with alot of teens and kids zooming up and down the harbor at night, it does get dangerous for families with smaller kids. The selling point of this place is its proximity to Legoland, unfortunately, it is a tad hard to get a Grabcar (a rideshare service like Uber) because at the moment the area is not as busy as it was pre-covid. i see families waiting 30mins to an hour to get a car. If you drive, there is an underground carpark (complimentary). The most disappointing was the breakfast, not enough food, and they were unable to cope with the number of people. they struggled to fill coffee pots, juice dispensers, cut fruits, and bread. once something came out, it was gone in minutes. Overall, I would recommend this place for families, just skip the breakfast and make something in the room.

Unfortunately, we booked a themed room called kingdom, which has only a city view, unlike a pirate themed room and adventure themed room, they have a great Legoland view. Although the room rates are the same. Rooms include 2 separate sleeping areas, with a king-sized bed for adults, and a separate area for up to 3 children, complete with bunk bed, pull-out trundle bed and their very own TV. The TV for kids is malfunctioning. Swimming pool at 5th floor Rating: 4 stars Average price per person: MYR500

Booked the hotel with club access at attractive rates. However, kinda disappointed that the club access besides having a nice chill out room has no one manning the room even during the stated timing between 3pm to 7pm. And that essentially means zero refreshment or any snacks. Rooms under club access are big and comes with good room amenities like powered bidet and showering with body jets. Location is abit far from JB bit the lower price justify it. For those people that are superstitious, u might want to take note to inform the hotel not to give u rooms with facings that face the chinese graveyard.
