Hotels near Masjid Kampung Pasir Gudang Baru, Johor Bahru

I will always stay in this hotel whenever travelling to Johore Bahru. The room rate is quite economical and no changes for the past few years. The room facility has improved even the room rate remain unchanged. i have discovered that the hotel room already been put a refrigerator and the bathroom also has a glass to segregate the shower area when I stay there recently. As for hotel exterior, they have installed a mini fountain to beautify the area. Overall, satisfy to stay at this hotel.

Love the people at the front desk, they are always so happy and friendly. Check-in took a bit longer than usual but the staff were very apologetic. I stayed in the Urban room at level 12 facing the highway and river. To my surprise it was rather quiet I can’t really hear the traffic. Morning breakfast at level 6 was pretty crowded. The next morning I just went down earlier and it was great. The girls at breakfast were always happy to welcome us… keep it up 👍

Dear Crystal Crown Management Team, First of all, I would like to thank you for the hospitality during this period. To begin with, I have a brother who is currently serving quarantine at Hotel Ramada, so I know exactly what are the two hotels offering and its differences. Nevertheless, my stay with Crystal Crown has been a decent one which I am grateful for. I will also be honest with you that there are quite number of areas which need to be improved, not only for the wellbeing of the next batch of guests, but also for the benefit of your staff members. Hence, I would like to provide some constructive suggestions. 1) Communications a) Clarity on the rules of food / items delivery. The RELA briefed us on the arrival day, but it was unclear as we were seated outdoor. A suggestion is to include pictures in your document. See the attached photo for illustration. Besides pasting the rules at the entrance, you could also print it out in black and white for every room, together with the welcome letter. I believe that once the rules are spelled out clearly, the guests will manage their expectations accordingly. b) Distribute the 14 days necessities (e.g. mineral waters, trash bag, toiletries) at one shot. This is also a good practice of Hotel Ramada. Not only the guests can ration the items based on their needs, it also saves your hotel staff the trouble of attending to the needs of the guests at all time. c) Discontinue the whatsapp group. I understand the intention of setting up the group is for emergency purpose. But we all clearly know that this is not the case. Unfortunately, the chat group becomes a platform of all sorts of stuff: from requesting the daily necessities, clarifying the same delivery rules, asking the staff to pick up and send food / items, to spamming the group of 198 people with complaints and feud, or even turning the group into personal chat room. I believe once point a) & b) are sorted out, there is less need to use the whatsapp group as the main channel of communication. We can always use the phone in our room to call the front desk for additional requests or attend to emergency matters. Respecting the guests’ privacy is very much appreciated. 2) Dietary Preferences a) Make the effort to collect guests’ dietary needs and be committed to attend to it. This is a basic etiquette and fundamentals of the hospitality industries. Peanut and seafood allergies can be severe and deadly. The health of people with medical conditions (e.g. diabetes) could be affected. Not to mention the vulnerable such as the elderly, young children and pregnant women. We are human after all, hence the importance of mutual respect – treat the guests the way you want to be treated. b) Look after the well-being of the vegetarians. I would like to speak up for the vegetarians, especially those who practise strict vegetarianism. They cannot to take onions, garlic, chives, green onions and leeks, as it cause anger and desi

If you are planning to go to Johor for the weekend, Z Hotel is the place to stay as it's relatively close to the checkpoint and near many famous eateries. Choose Z Hotel, the perfect place to stay.

Value for money. Booked the last minute and still had slots, and gotten a high floor room. However, there was a power outage at midnight but luckily it was fixed within 15 minutes. The doorbell seemed faulty too as it rang twice for no reason.

The check-in staff, grace was very friendly and her service was excellent. Because of the good services, we extended another night. We greatly appreciate your staff's initiatives and friendly services. We hope to stay in the future.

Excellent hotel to stay in. I guess the hotel just newly renovated but the air conditioning in the room a bit old and not well maintained. The air conditioning too cold at night even though we set up 27 degrees celcius. The surface of the air conditioning was frozen. Breakfast wise very good. The quality was excellent. You will have warm croissants and warm danish pastries. Come with local dishes as well. All the staff starting from the front desk staff, the parking guard, the F&B teams was friendly. Overall stay was pretty good.

The stay was really comfortable and it is easy to get around with Grab. However, the walk to Aeon Tebrau might be a little challenging in the evening due to the high traffic flow. The staff are really friendly and they even whatsapp me to check with me constantly on my check-in time :) Overall, a great stay!

Very suitable for families with young children. They have free shuttle at few places on scheduled timing, but more convenient to drive by car as its away from the city. Carpark is behind the front of the hotel but staff was very helpful to show us with map on how to get there in 2 minutes. Overall, the room is clean BUT there were 2-3 table tops which were sticky, we had to clean it ourselves, looks like sweet residue. There were also ants on the sink area & wall in 2 single-bedded bedroom. We are glad we had the privacy of 2 separate rooms, but we kept them opened. There is no view outside the window but we are okay with it. We still like it though as staff were very prompt, polite & helpful. We can feel the hospitality. There is a reasonable size gym with variety of equipment but no swimming pool. Maybe during checkout can remind us to let the counter tap our Touch & Go for complimentary parking, luckily there were many posters at the lobby to remind us to do so. Breakfast buffet was included, the spread is reasonable and the food was good considering its included in the room. Thumbs-up for the price which trip.com offer with my coins. The hotel staff is very welcoming and helpfull. Thank you to Executive Puan Sarimah Sapwi on your kind helpfull. I was here attending company training. What I want to say is it the ballroom is very spacious and comfort. The room ia a sound proof. The food is very good and deliciuos. It is variety and very tastefully. The High tea also very good especially a mee goreng mamak. Overal is very good.
