Manager is a liar. Despite booking via Qantas Hotels and the hotel advertising paid breakfast, when we inquired about breakfast we were told "sorry, no breakfast" paid or unpaid and given two options for a dessert place or another place 1KM away via car! When I complained to Qantas Hotels that no breakfast was available as advertised they contacted the hotel who LIED and said breakfast is available at a price - which we knew before we booked. The fact the manager responded with a lie to Qantas after I complained, saying breakfast was available at a price, meant I couldn't give more than 2 stars to this establishment. Furthermore, when we had an issue with our booking the manager Stephanie has NO IDEA how to use email and kept bringing up a booking I had made months earlier via *********** but had cancelled. I then ended up booking through Qantas hotels a couple of months later which she didn't seem to understand. Another typical third world feature of this hotel was ashtrays in the rooms. Fortunately the rooms were super clean and modern and no cigarette smells noted. The hotel is well located and a 5 min walk to center of Jounieh. Another hotel in Jounieh I will never stay at again. Jounieh is in desperate need of an international brand name hotel with hospitality trained and qualified staff with SOP's in place. Friendly yes, clean yes, but a less than exciting operation. Good luck if you have a problem. The hotel manager has nobody else to blame for my 2 star rating other than herself. I've now stayed at Reston, The Rooms, Princessa and honestly can't recommend any of these.n Maybe one day I'll stumble across an international standard hotel in Jounieh.
