I thought the 4.6 star review was out of 5, but sadly it was out of 10. When my kids and I arrived after a long day of driving, we found the building empty, and the only car on the gravel parking lot was abandoned, with all the windows busted out. Seriously.
There's no way I could have stayed here with my kids--I would have been terrified for their safety with no one else staying at the motel. Fortunately, there was no one *working* there to check us in either, the doors were locked, so we were never charged for the room. We were able to move on and (fortunately) find another hotel a few towns over before it got too dark.

No internet, no customer service, old dirty beds, bugs. I understand that there's apparently from what they said one person trying to take care of all of this themselves but I think it really shouldn't be open until they can accommodate things properly.

Showed up to be told, ya you can stay but we have no heat no hot water. Our pipes burst a few days ago. How ignorant to take a reservation knowing they were broken down. Thoroughly disgusted

It looks like they recently changed hands and you can tell they have been trying to clean things up. The carpet and paint seemed fairly new. There were a bunch of dead bugs in the bathroom. We couldn't get the TV to work and I don't think the heater was working, but we didn't really need it yet. You can hear other people talking and kids running around. The base of the sink seems to be unfinished plywood, which is not very sanitary because you can't really clean it. The beds were comfortable and the bedding smelled clean. I liked that they had a table and chairs, fridge and microwave.

Dirt road with potholes. No hot water and no heat. Hornets nest in hotel allowed hornets into rooms. Not open for business at this time. Allowed me to cancel hotel.

Two absolute deal breakers... Room was wrong and breakfast was NOT served.
I had a three double bed reservation, but was given a room with two. Had to sleep with my wife and son in a double bed!
Breakfast is a must, and though it says it would be served, they were "all out" when I asked THE NIGHT BEFORE!

There are not may choices in the area, but we expected more. Towels were clean, but damp. The room had flies- both dead and alive. No bath mat. We expected breakfast and the office was locked at 8am.
