During the cherry blossom season in Kyushu, Japan, I stayed at the Kagoshima Sun Royal Hotel. Although the transportation is a bit far from the JR station, the hotel has a shuttle bus, so it is still very convenient to travel. The hotel has its own hot spring ♨️, and it is very comfortable to soak twice in the morning and evening. Many of the hotel service staff are old, but the service is very standardized. It is worthy of being a foreign-funded old hotel and is worth recommending. The double room is large. Although the facilities are a bit old, it is very clean and tidy. The room service changes the yukata and tidies the room every day. The view outside the balcony is the Sakurajima volcano, which is very good. The breakfast of the hotel is the best I have had in this free trip to Japan. There are so many varieties. I stayed for 3 days in a row and felt that I didn’t eat them all. Everything looks quite old.
There are wooden boards and old mattresses under the bed. They are for an extra bed, but make use feel weird.
Window of hot spring is always with a layer of mist, so we cannot see the Sakurajima clearly.
