I took my two daughters on a staycation, and this hotel is very competitively priced compared to Zhengzhou. The pool is decent and the buffet is worth trying. Situated right next to a mall it offers enough to keep busy whilst being a springboard for sightseeing in Kaifeng. It would be good to be a little closer to downtown areas as you would need to rely on taxi services to and from to get anywhere. Still, I would come back again.

I was lucky to meet the landlord’s sister. Living in my sister’s homestay feels like visiting a relative’s house. It is very close to the attractions. I came back to watch the show late at night. My sister was still waiting for us. I was really touched. I have the opportunity to come to Kaifeng in the future and stay at this homestay.

SShue YingGood place for international guests! Aunty that runs the place is really nice and responsive. The stay was pleasant, the place is old but functioning and reasonably clean for a homestay. Aunty's children speak English and she'll ask them to help, so don't need to be afraid to ask questions. The location is amazing, with an electric ”hello bike (Alipay)” parking spot just on the main road, then everything is easily accessible. Aunty kindly offered to drive me the short distance to the main road to take bus 38 to the north train station as she felt my bag too heavy. Simple fuss free place, would recommend for budget travellers looking for convenience over amenities.

The lady at the front desk was not only pretty, but also attentive and enthusiastic. While checking in, she introduced tourist attractions and recommended the best travel plan. She also presented a Kaifeng travel guide map. However, the description mentioned the Song Dynasty Martial Arts City, and the Martial Arts City in the picture There is a roast duck painted on the location. Do you recommend tourists to eat roast duck in Wuxia City? In fact, before coming to Kaifeng, I made my own strategy and made a 5-day leisure travel plan in Kaifeng: on the first day, I visited Longting Park, Tianbo Yang Mansion, China Hanlin Garden, and stayed at Songhua Hotel (it said it had guest rooms with a panoramic view of the ancient city at night); On the second day, we visited Qingming Riverside Garden and stayed at Puhua Tianzhu Hotel (10 minutes away from the scenic spot); on the third day, we visited Wuxia City, Iron Tower Park, and the night view of Drum Tower, and stayed at Yinxiang Hotel (the room rate of Manxin Hotel is a bit high); on the fourth day, we visited Kaifeng Mansion , Yanqing Temple, Bao Gong Temple, and stayed at the Ibis Pinshang Hotel (close to the attractions, convenient to take bus No. 8); on the fifth day, the hotel temporarily stored luggage, and visited Daxiangguo Temple, Shanxi-Gan Guild Hall, Ancient Guanyin Temple, Liu Qingxia’s former residence, Take bus No. 8 to Kaifeng North Station. The itinerary is written down for reference by friends who come to Kaifeng. I don’t dare to do anything in front of the young lady. I returned to the hotel in the evening and found that the massage chairs could be used normally. I was very happy. There were many massage chairs in the waiting room, but I had never tried them in order to save money. This time it was free, so I was rude and tried them several times. The breakfast is very rich, as shown in the photo below, but the fried rice is a bit raw. Isn't it cooked rice cooked directly with uncooked rice?

Jjoseph grayCame here for 3 nights during CNY. Good breakfast buffet (with real coffee) and a decent room for the price. They also have laundry facilities, which was very useful. Near the Old Town. Appreciated one of the staff members helping me get a taxi to KW train station, which was a real ordeal considering the traffic jam we had to deal with.

GGuest UserI was originally meant to stay at this hotel for just 2 nights before heading to Zhengzhou, but then Henan was hit by flooding. The hotel allowed me to extend my stay and keep the same room. The hotel receptionists were fantastic, answered all my questions and helped me a lot, despite the language barrier. They even helped me get to a nearby hospital when I was injured. They are an absolute credit to the hotel. Thank you. The hotel is in a great location for exploring Kaifeng. All the main tourist sites are within walking distance, and the night market is only a couple of minutes down the road. If I was to visit Kaifeng again I would definitely stay at this hotel.
