Best Western Hotel Kaiserslautern Reviews

As expected from a hotel managed as part of the best western chain, the service is excellent, the facilities well managed. Unfortunately the location got rather worse in the recent years. This is rather unpleasant as long as the easy access to the nice forests are not priority. In general I strong recommend this hotel for short business visits to this town in the Palatina

The hotel can check in very late, suitable for late arrivals

At first, I booked with Booking and paid for the hotel. I arrived at the hotel at 7:30 pm. At that time, the **ai girl received me. The service attitude was very good. Unfortunately, after trying four times, both credit cards could not be used. I contacted Booking and could not process it. I contacted the overseas hotline of CCB. I waited several times beyond my patience, and there was no manual customer service to accept it. At this time, the front desk was replaced by a black guy with a serious face. No matter how I negotiated: without money without check in. There were 300 euros in the wallet💶, and I didn’t know what disappeared. I searched all my pockets, but to no avail. It was late at night and I couldn’t trouble others, so I changed to Ctrip, which took nearly an hour. The Ctrip guy tried international and domestic credit cards and savings cards many times, contacted European agents several times, agents called hotels, and European agents prepaid hotels. Finally, the problem was solved. During this period, the customer service helped to contact CCB’s 24-hour customer service. I waited for more than 8 minutes and no one answered. I got the room card and was in a daze on the sofa in the lobby🛋️ for an hour around 9:30 pm. It would be best if I had a cigarette🚬. I had a good rest at night. There was no American 🇺🇸 soldier in the room. I guess they all went to the Ukrainian border. Thanks to Ctrip for its five-star service. Although the price is much more expensive than Booking, I resolutely uninstalled Booking and booked all the subsequent flights and hotels with Ctrip.

Finding a place in Europe with reasonable prices,a good breakfast choice, ice cups or buckets , good adult drink, and ice cold A/C in the rooms makes for an awesome night sleep…. Not to mention every time I entered the hotel I was greeted with a smile.. Thank Again

Stayed 2 hot days in the small room. As others have said, the pictures make it look better than it is. The only reason it gets a 3 (avg) is because the breakfast was awesome. Plenty of hot and cold items, pastries, juices, coffee, etc Parking is street parking. The room is hellishly hot, small and dated. These days you need to have air con. Won't be staying here any time soon. Sorry.

Looks a lot better in the photos. Actually the hotel is pretty worn out. Single room was super small. Breakfast was okay foodwise but service wasn't up to speed (dirty tables, ran out of food etc). Front desk personnel were nice. Not really a walking distance away from Downtown. Hotel was okay for few nights but next time I'll try something different.

My stay was not good the room water was cold when I took a shower. The room had no air conditioning. I tried to check out a day early because my experience was so bad the hotel charged me an additional day. I want to say the staff was not properly trained because that kind of service does not help you or your guests.

I stay here every time I am in K-town. Great breakfast, free parking, free Internet, great Location. Sauna and Fitness area. Professional and friendly staff. Nearby to train station. Gas’s station and good German restaurant across the street.

Upscale 3-star hotel. Typical room, but with balcony. Very friendly staff, always helpful and very accommodating. Breakfast buffet that leaves nothing to be desired. Cozy bar with fair prices. Fitness room with all basic training equipment. Note: The sauna is larger than some reviews claim. Very elegant. Sufficient parking spaces. The only disadvantage for non-football fans is that it is relatively far from the city center.

We used the hotel as an overnight stop on our way to the northwest. We arrived after midnight and continued on the next morning. Finding a parking space was no problem. Reception was still open after midnight, but we had already done an online check-in beforehand and that was not recognized. We were given room cards and went upstairs, only to find that the key cards were not working. So we had to go back down. They said that this might have something to do with the online check-in. The rooms are small, bathrooms have a shower tray, everything is not very modern. But since we were only looking for a little sleep, it was OK. The breakfast buffet was varied and OK. The bill was a little strange. Although my credit card had already been charged in advance, this was not seen and there was another charge. However, everything worked when the final booking was made. One booking was canceled.

The WiFi is a total failure. The food is below average. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the Best Western in Kaiserslautern. The only positive thing was the nice bar and the generally friendly, if sometimes inexperienced, staff.

An aging hotel with exposed heating pipes, a shower bath that you have to climb into and then get out safely with wet feet! The hotel is obviously modern, the rooms are small, the mattresses are a bit sagging, everything looks grubby despite the "Best Western" label. The breakfast was Best Western, run of the mill, predictable, varied and good. The whole area was too dark in terms of color for us.
