The Elgin Silver Oaks in Kalimpong was a delightful stay for our family with young children. The Elgin family of hotels was able to accommodate a last minute change in reservation at our request and they did so with kindness and hospitality. Our stay at the Silver Oaks was truly outstanding. From the comfortable and spacious rooms to the gorgeous grounds, outstanding and friendly staff to the delicious food - we truly spent a lovely time wandering the grounds and exploring Kalimpong.

One of the old property of Kalimpong but we'll maintained, clean, hygiened and excellent customer service Food quality was good Hotel premises is not maintained and it does not match with Garden reach I stayed for 1 night only and I was not having that much of time to enjoy property But, room was well maintained and I must say old is gold, as the old property competing modern hotels of peer group

1)property is situated at a very calm natural place, one can enjoy the peace of mind. The view from the window is awesome. Pls take premium room for the best view. 2) food was also good, my advice is to add breakfast and dinner/lunch altogether while booking hotel. The reason is food is costly when u go for individual items. 3) wonderful services of staff, they are very polite and humble rooms are very large, neat and clean. Overall our stay at kalimpong at this hotel is awesome. Worth it, go for this

We stayed three nights in the Cozy Suite and this part of our ten-day holiday in the hills were the best. Spacious, tastefully decorated and with a nice bathroom and convenient kitchenette, it felt right at home. This suite has the best view of the other side of Kalimpong and one can just sit on the balcony and chill. The whole property is built on levels, filled with potted flowers and one can potter around the property and engage with the lovely dogs and cats. The complimentary breakfasts are delicious and the staff and owner so welcoming and friendly. Shoutout to Pradeep, Mary and Maurice for making us feel like we belonged there. Gingko Eyrie is THE homestay benchmark.

I had an amazing stay at summit sherpa mountain inn in kalimpong. The experience was nothing short of fantastic. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The rooms were clean, cozy, and offered breathtaking views of the mountains. The food was delicious, and the service impeccable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene and delightful getaway. A perfect blend of hospitality and nature!

We had booked this hotel by on line. After reaching we got this hotel fantastic. This hotel maintains highly advanced technology. More over the rooms are so clean. All facilities are available in the room. Food in this hotel is also fine. Hospitality and behavior of manager and all other staffs made us so glad. Scenic beauty from this hotel is also heart touching.We fall in love of this hotel

In Darjeeling, it can be regarded as one of the best quality hotels. Although the surrounding area is very shabby, it is a small harbor, which is especially suitable for two people (because of the double breakfast). From Darjeeling Railway Station, drag the suitcase to the hotel for about 15 minutes. Young people are fine. It is only 5 minutes to walk from the hotel to the Peak Plaza. It is very convenient. There is a night market with stalls nearby. There was even a miniso, and I was drunk too, and the holiday brand that lost the Chinese face was flooding everywhere. The video was shot in the room with a time-lapse. In addition, free luggage storage is provided here, you can go for four or five days on foot, leave your luggage here, and pick it up later.

It was one of my best stay experiences recently. Location: The location is very near to Darjeeling railway station - about 300m. Mall road is about 1-2 km away, that should about 20 minutes on foot; besides, cab is available from railway station - costs around 300 INR to Mall road. I will give the location 8/9 out of 10. Rooms: I had booked Kanchenjunga View Suite. The room was spacious and had a wonderful mountain view. There was a decent sized balcony overlooking the mountain and the valley, with sitting arrangements. The room had a large screen TV unit with OTTs installed. The room decor was impressive as well with good lighting. The room had all required amenities such as heater, centralized ac, electric kettle, wadrobe, study table, attached bathroom - clean and spacious, etc. I will rate room 9 out of 10. Cleanliness: I was very impressed by the cleanliness and the housekeeping. The housekeeping staff takes great effort to keep the hotel clean, and that deserves a shout-out. I would rate 9.5 on cleanliness. Hospitality: Everyone at the hotel is so friendly and polite that it is a delight to interact with them. They never forget to greet a guest whenever they meet in the hallway or in the lobby. They are very professional and provide exemplary service. I would rate 10 out of 10 on hospitality. Food: The restaurant is called Grains and is a pure veg restaurant. It might be a disappointment for non-veg lovers, but after experiencing a 4-day stay, I would say I have no regret. It is rather a delight. The quality of the food, even though all veg, is excellent. It also has a decent choice of menu. The breakfast is delicious and has a very good spread. I liked the breakfast so much so that it was too an attraction for me. Even though it is pure veg, I still had a great dining experience. Every evening, there is a live performance event and a buffet dinner at the restaurant. I would rate food experience 8 out of 10. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and a customer's delight. I am eagerly looking forward to staying in this hotel when I visit Darjeeling again. I would rate the hotel 9 out of 10.
