So this is our last night of a 2 week visit..our second time and we will return next year. Our welcome from Klodian was fabulous..thank you, also to Dia on reception. Nothing was to much trouble ..our room 469 far exceeded our expectations and we thought last year was amazing !!!! The room was huge ...minimalist in decor ( for the person who complained about no pictures!!)..Spotless and beds changed every second day ...great shower and hairdryer....We found the food to be exceptional ...Veal,beef pork authentic Greek cooking ..loved the new edition of the side bbq grill ..breakfast pancakes...gyros..a surprise every evening....The restaurant staff especially the lovely Rosa and Hela work especially hard to make sure everything was perfect the beach bar with Nicholas and Renato was a great place to spend an afternoon.. I discovered my love of vermouth!!!! The lobby bar was ran by the witty ,kind efficient Aldo who went out of his way to ensure everyone had a good holiday...dismayed to read negative reviews obviously folks who have a fantastic holiday don't comment....exceptional value for money ...and the setting is perfect

WLAN sehr schlecht. Personal jederzeit freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen geht so. Die Getränke sind sehr schlecht. Nur aromatisiert Zuckersirupplörre. Pools ok.

Positives: •Room was clean and the shower was brilliant •Air con was amazing •Bar staff were super friendly and remembered our name •30 second walk to the beach! •Pools look amazing and are lit up at night •Receptionists were helpful booking our taxis •Cleaners came everyday Negatives: •Room was very basic and was in need of some pictures on the wall and a full length mirror. My friends room didn’t even have a window. •From the photos it appears you will get a room by the pool but this is not the case. It almost looked like we were in a separate place. •Sadly no kettle in the room •Food isn’t the nicest, plenty of options but a lot of the food is poor quality. •My friend cut himself very badly in the pool by standing on something sharp so please be careful in the pool.

Arrived on Tuesday morning at 2am, we traveled as a family of 6 but 2 separate bookings. Upon arrival to the hotel, the guy at the check in desk advised my in laws didn’t have a room and they had to travel 50 minutes away to Lindos to stay in another hotel. They are in their 60’s and was absolutely adamant I wasn’t going to allow them to travel at that time of night alone. I told them they will stay in our room for the night, and we would deal with it in the morning, after an uncomfortable sleep, I went back to reception to speak with the manager, he advised he was working on finding an alternate hotel for all 6 of us, he said in the meantime use all the facilities and give him an hour. We went back and he found us a hotel, 25 mins away, and to be honest, it was probably for the best, as it’s absolutely beautiful! Taxi was paid for, and anything additional to the hotel. Grounds are not great, a lot of building work, rooms basic but clean, beach was nice, extra charges for sun loungers. Food was just your average all inclusive. Giving 2 stars for the inconvenience

I went to Evita Bay with family and we would say that overall the hotel is "okay" and would more suitably be graded a 3 star establishment in our opinion. As with all reviews there are positives and negatives to this hotel, with most of the "negatives" being easily corrected. I'll start with the positives: The rooms are a good size and most, if not all, come with a balcony or terrace. The food at lunch and dinner is really quite good and most people will find something they will like including vegetarians. The majority of the staff are friendly and attentive. Three good size swimming pools are available to use, even though we only used two of them. In previous reviews by other people they mention the pools being dirty and un-useable, the only sign of "dirt" was from peoples sun cream as sat on top of the water. There was a filtration issue with the pools though but this was resolved within a few days. The hotels location is great, situated right next to the beach and surrounding shops makes any trips into town or a lazy day sunning yourself really easy. It's a pretty quiet hotel and you don't feel like your surrounded by people which is nice. Now it's time for the "negatives": Multiple powercuts meant that the air-conditioning and all electrics in our room stopped working, making the room warmer at night while the power was down. Air-con not working as well as it should and spat out ice or black water on many occasions. Cracked or chipped tiles in the bathrooms, awful finish to silicone joints around the toilet (only noticed as I'm a plumber and not a big issue at all but looks unprofessional) and having a door that opened in such a way that made the room difficult to get in and out of. Another member of our party had a different layout to their bathroom which was by far better. Our bathmat was not replaced regularly, maybe once in a ten day stay, meaning we had to dry it outside. This is fine but no good should you get the mat dirty. The shampoo supplied in the rooms is only in tiny bottles and in no way enough to wash your hair should you shower twice a day. They are also not replaced very often. Luckily we brought our own to use. Bottles of water in the mini fridge were not replaced during our stay so it cant be checked when the maids attend to the room. While this is not a huge point it's still nice to be able to get a drink without having to leave your room. Being served drinks by the pool, or if you wanted to take your drink away from the bar, in little plastic cups (as if you were back in primary school!) is just ridiculous. We then found out you could upgrade your primary school cup to a more suitable hard plastic cup but this came with a deposit of 2 euros 50 per cup. You do however get to keep the better cups for the duration of your holiday and get your money back should you return them. We feel that this should be told to guests as they turn up. The soft drinks dispensers don't work very well if at all. On many

My husband and I and our 2 little girls aged 2 and 4, arrived and got put in room near waste land in the no 600s. Sparse room but looked okay, until the ants nests, cob webs, spiders started up. Under beds unclean. Sockets out of wall, loose wires. Outside bit of land at back to sit out with other guest staying there with the floor covered in Ants. Restaurant like a work canteen, not enough staff, cutlery, plates, food was limited, with no order. Meals times are a mad dash, watching people clean their own tables, water and drinks would always run out, you’d have to ask for everything. Food not labelled at start of the week! There’s only 1 bar for the whole place through the day (more of a shack) that can’t keep up with demand. Also far from the other parts of the hotel, all drinks served in disposable plastic cups, was asked to bring them back to save them money! It was almost impossible to keep going back when you’re carrying plastic cups for more than a 5 minute walk. I used a reusable cup I had bought with me, I was told this wasn’t allowed as it was more beer in one cup. The walk ways and restaurant constantly covered in wasps, so meal times were impossible, needing to move as many landed on plates of food. After feeling so disappointed by it all, I sent an email of complaint. Met with the general manager, who presented initially as aggressive and attempted to blame my husband for some spilt milk at the coffee machine, said he’d report him to the owner as he had it on CCTV! This response caught us by surprise. He later did however offer us a move and upgrade of room after seeing the videos I presented of ant-infestations. He also denied there ever being any complaints, when I referred to trip advisor and other reviews. Said there was 3 Nicholas who worked there! Haha. Of course. The room was much much better, thank you for that. Turned a very bad start around, however we could not move past all the other issues. We ate out every night, bought all our drinks from the shops, the alcohol there was difficult to get hold of, and it was either gone off, watered down or just awful. Highlights, 2 female staff at restaurant, Hella (lovely lady) and another lady who cleaned tables and always said hello. Oh and the hairdryers were very powerful! The location is also ideal for access to the centre and surrounding areas. Other than that, the upgraded family room was very good.. but this hotel overall is not a 4 star in terms of everything. We met other families there who had the same views as us. It could be amazing but there needs to be a real investment into the all inclusive offer and the running of the restaurant and staffing levels need improving. We love Rhodes and stayed in many 4 star hotels, we like a change, but we definitely won’t be returning. Please read all reviews for this hotel before deciding to book. Oh and Nicolas, we wish you well on your future travels!
