The hotel setting was as described, though the local beach wasn't very nice and the area was quite run down. There wasn't anywhere to eat or have a drink, just a local supermarket and lots of places to hire cars, amongst several hotels. The quality of the facilities, the room and the reception staff were great. However i feel that the restaurant and the staff let it down and in my opinion doesn't make this a 5* hotel. The waiting staff were not very attentive or even friendly at times and the detail was missing (mainly at breakfast) such as the tables missing cutlery, sugar etc and even when asked for these items the staff didn't always help. We stayed half board and although there was plenty of choice at each meal, the food wasn't very hot which let it down. I wouldn't stay there again, mainly because of the area
