My wife and I stayed here for 10 days. Upon arrival was greeted by a friendly receptionist. Our room was really spacious more like a small apartment than a hotel room separate lounge with a small kitchenette. All the staff throughout the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms cleaned everyday linen was changed several time during our stay, fresh towels everyday. Bar service excellent. The restaurant service and food is excellent also great value both at lunch and dinner. The pool area with plenty of comfortable sun loungers and plenty of shaded areas. A special mention to Michalis whom served breakfast and lunch always had a smile. A great big thanks to all the teams in the hotel we had a great holiday.

Just back from a visit here and I can not recommend this hotel enough, the staff are really friendly and always happy to help. We stayed in room 37,which gave beautiful views over the sea and was a good size one bed apartment, slight things like the shower head wasn't great it didn't really move as me and my partner are different heights, it made it tricky and the bed was quoted as a double which was two twins pushed together. Other then that, lovely pool lots of sunbeds and reasonable priced drinks. Highly recommended if your on the island and it's close to lots of restaurants and about a 15 euro taxi to the port.

We booked this for a walking and climbing holiday. It is well positioned for walking to many crags and a nice walk away from restaurants and shops when needed. Built following the slope of the hill on 7 levels, there are many steps to access the rooms although this does make for a well thought out and attractive setting. One star removed due to the lift not working on several occasions when we had large loads.

Fantastic stay at Elena Village Hotel. Location perfect, just on outskirts of massuri so no noise but walkable to main hub. Spotlessly clean and room very spacious. Fabulous breakfast. Also had dinner one evening and it was very good. Staff friendly and helpful. Shop and a car/scooter rental right outside. Nice mix of people staying....climbers, couples and families on holiday. Pool gorgeous and has amazing view of the crags. Only fault is I cant stay anywhere else now when visiting - its too lovely! Thanks Elena Village....we will be back next year

We stayed here to visit Kalymnos and climb the Spartacus area. Nice short walk to climbing. The pool and staff with food and drinks made a nice relaxing day as well. Would stay here again. Even though it is a larger establishment, it is spread out and stepped up that you don’t notice. Great breakfast.

The Elena Village Hotel is a perfect spot for island exploration. Breakfast is plentiful and caters for all. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms all have a sea view with the Studios well equipped and comfortable that are cleaned every day. A funicular lift takes you to the upper floors and is a joy. The island being a climbing paradise means there is a fantastic mix of all nationalities at the hotel. Free strong signal wifi throughout. The hotel is indeed constructed in the style of a mountain village (think Lindos). It is a short stroll down the road to the village that has an abundance of restaurants and the local beach along the main road in and out. Highly recommended.

I booked the Elena Village for a number of reasons. Based upon previous reviews and the hotel's information, I believed it would be perfect to spend our 30th wedding anniversary, it appeared ideal for a disabled person, and as my wife has Coeliac disease it guaranteed Gluten free food. We booked a Superior suite with modern facilities and emailed the hotel well in advance to make them fully aware of the problems my wife had. They confirmed receiving our email. We arrived at 2.30am and were met by the night porter, who took us to the funicular lift and told us the room was on the 5th floor, leaving me to manage two suitcases and two items of hand luggage on my own, as my wife has mobility issues. The room was quite a distance from the lift, involving long corridors and 3 separate flights of stairs. We were allocated a suite with a private pool, which was not the superior suite we had booked. We were to learn later that the only reason we were allocated the room with a pool was because the hotel had double booked our superior suite. We decided to have a meal at the hotel on the first night, and ordered stifado. It was the only night we ate there. It was dreadful. We spoke to other guests who’d had the same experience and wouldn’t eat there again. Two days later we were told that we would have to move rooms on the 11th Sept. We were shocked. Reception said that the Night Porter should have told us. I told them that if we had known this, we would have refused the room. This was the actual date of our Anniversary and I told them this would spoil our special day. I asked them if we could move immediately or the day before our Anniversary. They initially agreed, but later put a note under our door to state that it was not possible. That was when we realised they had double booked. Later they said we could remain in the room until the day AFTER our Anniversary (superior suite still not ready). I told them we had booked a tour with the rep on that day. They said they would move our belongings for us, as we had to be out of the room. So we had to pack our clothes, fridge items, dry foods, Medication, etc on our Anniversary day. We both felt so let down. Returning from our day trip we asked reception if we’d been moved? She pointed to two cases and asked if they were ours? We said no. She said in that case, we had been moved. We had to unpack everything in our new room, which was over a shop on the main road. Road noise at night was awful. In my humble opinion, this was not a superior suite. The bathroom hand basin was OUTSIDE the bathroom, overlooking the kitchen. Not ideal planning. The coffee percolator hadn’t been cleaned for weeks and was full of mould. We brought this to the attention of the manager and the following day the cleaning staff approached us, telling us that management had phoned her at home and ripped into them. We then had to complain about the two ring hotplate, as the cable had been burnt through exposing the wires. The cleaner changed

This place is perfect in every way. It’s clean, comfortable, the staff are lovely, laundry room which is great touch when you’re island hopping. Great food, breakfast and cocktails and perfect location. I couldn’t fault a single thing. I would of happily stayed forever.

Hotel was very nice and I would stay again. There is small room for improvement with the breakfast as not a lot of healthy options were available. The hotel does not provide pool towels so you are forced to use the bath towel. But as a whole the hotel was very nice and clean with great views.
